It is never too late to be who you might have been

FROM THE ARCHIVES: Me juggling fire balls, bare handed, at the camp fire. (Don't try this at home kids, do it in the middle of the woods during a drought - what was I thinking!?)
"No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks!!!" This is a page from my 12th grade English Journal.
Yesterday was National Coming Out Day, I made this Cover Photo for Facebook to honor it.  I came out 3 times, yeah, long story.  The third time, and most dramatic is what has solidified my position and activism in our community. I'm proud of who I am, and I'm proud of who I love.  Come out on your own terms, but know, you're not alone, there are lots of people to talk to, and it got a hell of a lot better for me!
Welcom to February 12, 1996. Â I was digging through some boxes from my school days last night and came across this gem. Â An article about my first 'real' website. Â The township official said he would need to pay someone $50 - $70 a month to add content to the website.
1994 called and asked for its yearbook back. This was fun, I even hid an Easter Egg in it. The locker number in the eye was my locker number. This was my first design that was "published," I was, and still am very proud of it. The school was Middle School West, part of Cumberland Valley School District in Mechanicsburg PA. The middle school is now torn down, moved and called Eagle View.
8th Grade, 1993-1994 This is my yearbook picture from when I was asked to design the cover of our middle school yearbook. (Next Post)

The Blank Piece of Paper
Don’t be afraid of it.  Get something on it.  Just put your pencil to the paper and start drawing, sketching or writing, even it is to simply say “hello world.”  Once it’s no longer blank, you’re not as afraid to make mistakes, erase, re-do.  So, this is my “Hello World” post on my blank piece of paper.
Now that that’s out of the way, what am I really trying to say?  This site is now going to be dedicated to showing off.  Things I’ve created. T-Shirts. News Paper Ads. Logos. Some never saw a printing press, some have been distributed all over the nation.  I’ll try to share some back stories about each one.
I don’t expect too many to read my ramblings, but I hope you’ll enjoy the art.  I’m going to go as chronologically as I can, I’ve been designing for a very long time.  I was asked to design the cover of my junior high school year book.  So, get ready for a trip down memory lane.
