All of the other people in this fandom who claim "xyz Targaryen better than Daenerys" forget one single most important thing, each and every one of those Targaryens serve as a plot device and buildup to explain her ancestry.

Lets not forget the first Targaryen we meet is DANY, in mix with a mention of Aegon the Conqueror, the first Targaryen GRRM created was HER, not her brother or any other Targaryen, HER, she is the one they have dreamt of their whole dynasty, including Aegon, she is the one who brings the dragons back and you best believe she will fulfil the prophecy

also this is much needed, I need people to understand that the reason she's able to hatch those Dragon eggs doesn't have anything to do with her being a Targaryen, because many have tried before her and failed (Horribly at that) but the reason she's able to hatch them is because she's the Prince who was Promised, she is Azor Ahai.

It started with Rhaenys (the Conqueror) in Dorne with her dragon (Meraxes).

And It ended up with Rhaenys (daughter of the last dragon and Elia Martell) in King's Landing with (Balerion the Cat) her dragon, or at least that's what she thought.

Also the issue of prophecy and the third head, which is equivalent to the conquerors.

Don't tell me this was a coincidence and shouldn't have been noticed. It was obvious and intentional from grrm.

Then I don't understand why Targaryen stans are so mad about this, (isn't Rhaenys part of the bloodline?) Why do you need to drag Daenerys into this, nothing started with her and it won't end with her, it started with (Daenys the Dreamer) and most readers will probably agree it will end with Young Griff (whether he's the real Aegon or Blackfyre he still has Targaryen blood) There's no place for Daenerys there. Accept it, it's just annoying how everything about Elia and her children annoys you.

Team Black? Team Green? No, Team Targaryen women. They were treated poorly by their own men from the very beginning. They were passed up time and time again for the iron throne. Even when they were in positions of power, they had very little of it. It was the Targaryen men that brought the downfall of their dynasty. When the dragons died, the men tried to bring them back and failed. It was a woman that brought the dragons back. Beautiful, isn’t it?
