Arcs/Magic Asks: #What is real? is an arc where Jim realizes that he is a fictional character #mirror!kirk is where Jim and his mirror counterpart (whom I call Kirk in this) end up switched again. This is my first time doing one of these things, but I've seen a few other blogs, and thought it would be fun!

I am a Spirk shipper, however, they're not dating here. They're "complicated" Please nothing explicitly sexual. I'm fine with some nsfw. I'm not completely sure where exactly the "line" is, more of a "i'll know it when I see it" kinda thing. Be kind. If you don't like my characterization, feel free to criticize me, but I am a bit sensitive so I likely won't give a verbal response, but I will try to take any feedback into account. Yes, he is overdramatic, that is because Kirk is overdramatic I'll try to respond to all asks I know that there's other Kirk ask blogs, and for the sake of continuity, id prefer to not interact with them while in character, but I do like to see them!! I enjoy looking at the posts, and seeing other interpretations of this Little Guy

Sir... what should be the appropriate action done when some of the engineers steal my vodka? Because they stole my stash and it is very... very.... difficult to contain my rage. I wish not to inflict violence upon them, but I was looking forward to using that vodka to woo one of my pals via penne alla vodka... and now I have no vodka.... I can't make penne alla vodka without vodka....

[ Jims rubs his eyes and lets out a groan ]

"You know, the ship isn't really supposed to have alcohol on it, right? Could you just... I don't know.. ask for it back? Unless they've already drank it.. Hm.. Can you replicate the sauce you need, perhaps?"

My foster parent (Andorian, thaan) and I got in an argument last night because I was engaging in, and I quote, "premarital air-breathing with an unbonded Vulcan". Which is. Bad, appearantly. Is this like... an actual thing to avoid or are they just like... being weird?

AND FOR THE RECORD, THAT VULCAN AND I ARE BOTH GROWN WOMEN WHO ARE VERY, VERY GOOD FRIENDS. WE ARE NOT COURTING, NO MATTER WHAT MY FOSTER PARENT SAYS!!!! US SHARING A BED AND MEDITATING TOGETHER AND SHOWERING AT THE SAME TIME AND OCCASIONALLY SHARING MINDS IS PLATONIC!!!!

But yeah, advice on the premarital air sharing would be greatly appreciated, Mr. Kirk.

Premarital.. air breathing..? Isn't that what you and I are doing, right now, as we speak? I have so many more question but, firstly, your parent doesn't need to be involved in your love life. You know you don't have to tell them anything?

Captain, you can't claim to have a good crew if they only behave out of fear. And while my crew may get up to a hijink or two, they're fully competent while on duty.

As long as I have my crew, I know that I'll never die.. or starve. Do you have that same assurance, captain?

"No-- no. Please don't tell him. Bones is just about done with synthesizing a cure. Though we aren't sure what to do about uh.. all these"

[ Behind him is a whole pack of fluffballs, all vaguely looking like him ]

"I honestly don't know where they all came from."

OOC: Sorry for not responding in character but I truly have no in universe explanation. I got super behind on my inbox, and was genuinely inundated with "kiss spock!!" asks. I just decided to change my beat after a while, when I was presented with the opportunity to. If it helps, you can just imagine that the timeline on my blog isn't exactly linear, and there's more in universe gaps between things.

Announcing Operation Kolinahr, a fanmade K/S Visual Novel!

This is still a work in progress, but by December 2026 it will be a completely free Spirk visual novel!

The five year mission is drawing to a close. Right before Kirk can confess his feelings, Spock informs him that he plans on pursuing Kolinahr. Kirk has five days to convince Spock to stay with him, each of them featuring a short minigame with a positive or negative outcome. There will be three possible endings depending on your performance.

This is a solo passion project, so please bear with me!

[the ensign, somehow managing to maintain a completely straight face, lays the padd down on the biobed next to tribble!kirk]

[ Tribble Kirk shifts slighlty in an attempt to nod. ]

"Thank you. I appreciate it."

"Damnit Jim, you're trying to work even as a TRIBBLE?! Think of this as a vacation."

[ And with that, Bones takes the padd right back, and as a tribble, Kirk can't do much to stop him. ]

“Captainnnnnnn-oh, uh sir? Is that. Is that you?”

The ensign stops at the edge of the door way before entering and picking the tribbleified captain up and holding it to their confused face.

“ literally what the hell even happens on this ship? Scotty gets turned into a worm, the doctor gets turned into a goose, your first officer gets turned into a cat, you should kiss him btw, and now you’re a tribble? Absolute no space discovery happening on this ship.”

they hold the captain as gently as they can and start to leave the room.

“Sir I know I technically I don’t have the authority to do this but like, you’re a tribble right now so we better go to sickbay.”

"Yes, yes, I know. I suppose we should audit our biology labs, perhaps. Maybe the transporters. McCoy already knows about my situation, but it wouldn't hurt to pay him another visit..." [ As they leave, several kirk Tribble duplicates are left behind, hiding in his quarters ]

[The information that Jim is now a tribble has reached (mirror) Spock. He can't do much from where he is, but it brings up a moral dilemma. If his own captain were to turn into a tribble, his own orders would force Spock to exterminate him on sight, for the good of the ship. He assumes that, if the other Spock is anything like he is, he'll act the same way.]

You have been a good friend, Jim. I shall grieve you.

[ Tribble Kirk jumps at that ]

"What? Spock? I understand killing tribbles on sight, but you would do it even if you knew that they were a person? Spock!"

[ Though, several other small tribbles seem to be around him. He doesn't even know where they came from! ]

[Gently brushes tribble kirk with a small tribble brush]

[ Tribble Kirk chirps a little bit from the brush. He settles for a moment, then scurries away ]

"Wait, no-- I'm still your captain. You wouldn't pet your captain, would you?"

For the next 5 asks captain is a tribble! He can still speak, so he doesn't get killed, but other than that he can only function as a tribble, including that multiple others of tribble him are being born very rapidly

The chemists and biologists of the Enterprise have been working tirelessly for weeks on some kind of pesticide to take care of the tribble infestation. While performing a lab inspection, a particularly clumsy ensign accidentally spilled a concoction of tribble dna and god-knows what else right on the captain. They managed to clean it off-- at least, they thought they did. Until the captain had to beam down to a planet, and found himself as a tribble on the surface.

His crew beamed him back on the ship, and his tribble form now rests in sickbay. He's perhaps the angriest tribble you've ever seen.
