Hiatus extended to Indefinite

I know I was going to come back July 1st, but, my dad’s health is continuing to deteriorate. Even know as I write this they just took him to the hospital because he was making no sense/was delirious/had a fever. They THINK its form dehydration/lack of eating, but I’m not sure. Either way I’m freaking out and I don’t think I’ll be in any shape to RP for a while even if my dad turns out to be okay from this. He still has Emphysema, he Still has Cancer. Those both aren’t going away anytime soon. 

Anyway, I’m sorry to everyone I’m threading with. I don’t know when I’ll be back. I do periodically log onto here to check my messages, in case anyone needs anything that doesnt have my skype.

Most people weren’t that fond of being affectionate towards people they’d just met, but Aubrey thrived on affection. Maybe thirteen years stuck in the manor with people payed to cater to his every whim had done that to him, either way t didn’t matter now.   ❝It might not be easy to convince the chefs at home to let me, but I’d be up for trying.❞ He couldn’t help but giggle softly at the thought. The chefs often chased him out of the kitchen when he wanted to make himself a snack, making it the only place in the manor he wasn’t allowed to go. ❝I’d like that. Cooking for each other sounds fun. What foods do you like best? I’m sure I could find a recipe and teach myself.❞     Aubrey just smiled and glanced away at the comment, giving a small shrug before looking back at him and giving a playful nudge back. ❝I guess I’m just not used to someone being this nice to me. Even my ex-boyfriend…❞ He trailed off, a hand raising to his face, only brought out of his small daze by James’ comment.     ❝Yeah? I’ll be sure to tell him you think so. Hopefully my cooking will add up.❞ Already he was smiling as if nothing had happened. ❝If you’d like you can let your pokemon out here as well, we have food for pokemon, and I have some pokepuffs I made myself if you want.❞ «

James nodded when Aubrey said he could let his pokemon out. He grabbed the three luxury balls at his waist, and aimed them to an open spot in the restaurant, Out popped the three pokemon he owned. 

First, there was a Growlithe, its coat was perfectly groomed and it almsot immediately started chasing its tail. 

Second, there was his tried and true Carnivine. This one immediately latched onto James, trying to eat him affectionately. It took a few moments but James was able to pull Carnivine off him, at which point it went and stood in the open area near where Growlie was chasing his tail.

Lastly was Phanthump, his newest Pokémon. It didn’t try to kill James affectionately, but, instead, it floated in front of Aubrey’s face, unblinking. It stared at him. After a few moments it looekd over a tJames, then back at Aubrey before it’s eyes went into a “^_^” face and it floated over to the open area.

“You can pet them if you want, they won’t bite. Carnivine only likes to bite me.”

“I don’t see why people aren’t nice to you, honestly. You’re a sweetheart, you’re good looking, hell, you’re a maid and a cook most people would die to have someone like that in their life.” He chuckled a bit, continuing to tease him a little.

“I bet your cooking is one-hundred times better than the cooks.” He nodded. “Not that this food is by any means bad.”

“…” Dinner? Was he paying?  …Anything in the name of food. Why the heck not? “Sure.” Raika swallowed the lump that formed in her throat. “I can’t tell you a lot though, I’ll get beat up by th’ bosses.” Not literally, of course. She nodded to herself with confirmation, crossing her legs and resting her chubby arms on her knees - Chin placed on one hand. “So, who do you work for?” Think fast, James.

James paused a minute. He was actually surprised she said yes, but he would take that in stride. It was rare he had money of his own, and while he should have been greedy about it, if the money could help him get some information on Mega-Evolution to bring back to his Boss, then it was worth it.

“I work for someone who took me and my best friend in when we had literally nowhere else to go. In exchange for his hospitality, he asked us to work for him when we were old enough, and that was fine with both of us.” He wasn’t lying. “Basically we travel region to region, capturing Pokémon, and learning about things that are specific/popular in various regions. My Boss really loves Pokémon.” Again, he technically wasn’t lying.

Semi-Hiatus Notice

I will be taking a semi-hiatus until the end of June. Depression has been hitting me very very hard the last few days despite me trying to come on here and have fun.  I hate myself, I hate my rl situation, im sick and tired of not being able to afford anything, and Im sick and tired of hiding my gender and my sexuality from literally everyone I know IRL out of fear, and I hate having to do this. I will still likely be lurking on my dash, maybe Ill send memes to people, maybe Ill jump into CaH Games when i see them. But I probably won’t be doing replies, and I probably wont be starting new threads, because I feel like I have a good thing going with James, and I don’t want to ruin it by half-assing.
