Hey whats up im hyperfixating so im gonna make that everyone else's problem. Heres a kinda sad post-movie Encanto headcanon thing.

Ok we all know Bruno deserves an apology, and people like to assume he got one after the movie which, yknow, fair enough, as it should be. But what if he didn't? At least, not a verbal one. Like, his family treats him very kindly and does their best to make up for everything they put him through, but I imagine rather than taking it as an apology from them, he believes it means HE has been forgiven for all he was blamed for.

At the end of the movie, he tries apologizing for all of it and, rather than assuring him none of it was actually his fault, Julieta and Pepa are just like "hey bro dw we're just glad you're back". Idk I feel he would totally still assume people still thought he was to blame for a while before the rest of the family realize their mistake and start to actually, properly, learn to communicate.

Eret’s Prounouns

Time to chat folks! This is about cc!Eret and the pronouns used for them. This doesn’t seem like a huge thing but people have been actually fighting and been getting upset over this so its time to clarify. (Please be aware this is operating under current knowledge and i could be wrong or it can change at any time!) Someone who ‘actively uses all pronouns’ and someone who ‘doesn’t care what they’re refereed to as’ ARE NOT THE SAME and you guys need to stop acting like it is. Why? Becuase, simply put, people are trying to push a gender identity on Eret in irl that he doesn’t identify with. Eret said he doesn’t mind any pronouns, which means no matter what you use in relation to them, you cant get them wrong (baring Neopronouns as far as I’m aware! Neopronouns are fine in general but he’s not comfortable with them being used on him).  But! Eret has stated before he regards himself as a man and uses he/him pronouns when referring to himself. This is fine, as again, you using pronouns other then he/him wont upset them, but this does not make him non-binary, Genderfluid, Bigender, ect ect. Unless Eret states otherwise, we dont get to decide what his gender identity is unless she tells us otherwise! So stop using those like they’re interchangeable and stop trying to force an identity onto Eret! This mostly means when in fandom, avoid referencing to cc Eret with one of these sexualities, or any really since they haven’t referred to themselves as cis either as far as im aware. Just… dont try and assign them one.  (Writing tip #1; This is just a friendly suggestion but in RPF with the actual cc id suggest to having Eret refer to himself with male pronouns and as a man, since he that’s what he does, but have other people use other pronouns for them! Just a handy writing tip.) However, as far as im aware, c!Eret (ie character Eret on the dsmp) is free game for this sort of thing and you’re free to speculate and call them whatever!)

So tldr; Stop trying to push a gender identity on Eret irl and stop harassing’s others for using ‘wrong’ pronouns becuase technically you cant get his pronouns wrong, even if someone only using he/him for Eret. 

(Writing tip #2,Varying what people use for said character helps a lot! So Person A might refer to Eret with he/him, they/them pronouns, while Person B uses she/her, he/him, they/them and Person C might just use he/him pronouns in reference to Eret and non of them would be wrong! it makes sense to have different people have different ideas!  Also Be aware changing pronouns a bunch in one sentence can be clunky and hard to read, specially as someone with a learning disability and makes it hard to follow who the sentence is referring to.)

I feel like some Hamilton fans, especially the younger ones don’t understand that the real Alexander Hamilton was not like Lin Manuel Miranda’s Alexander Hamilton. Like, AT ALL.

Lin changed a lot of things, the only thing that you should take for a fact from Hamilton is the dates. The reason for this is because he had to make Hamilton a likeable character, someone you would root for, someone who the audience could relate to, to broadway-ify it.

The real Hamilton fucked over the working class with his capitalist shit, was only abolishionist when it benefited him politically, cheated on Eliza many more times than once, and was generally just a smug asshole.

That being said I am a huge fan of Hamilton, I think Lin is a genius. It’s just very important not to get your historical facts from a musical.
