This was the traffic sign that greeted Guests traveling to Disneyland that morning. Disneyland and Disney California Adventure never opened to Guests that day. Walt Disney World was already open and Guests were escorted out of the park as soon as they received news of the first plane hitting the World Trade Center Tower and another plane hitting the Pentagon.

when my family went to disney world we went on the haunted mansion ride and this actor dressed as a skeleton came up to our cart and got right in my three year old brothers face and whispered “are you scared?” and my brother kissed him on the nose and the guy laughed so hard he had to leave

That's an adorable story, but what the heck are you talking about? When do actors in costumes approach moving rides? That seems like a huge safety hazard to me! I can only assume it was during Halloween?

After I posted this picture, I really wanted to expand the idea with a short comic or something, so I came up with some storyboards… and then they sat untouched in a sketchbook (which was buried under several other sketchbooks) for literally months. I finally dug them out and turned them into a proper comic! Yay! :D I tried to follow the Disney version as closely as possible, but in a modern context.
