I’m just tired; I just want the world to be quiet for a bit.

blakexwinslet:
blake took his earbuds out his ears once he seen a girl come up to him. “uhh…” he looked around him and shook his head. “no i haven’t i’m sorry.” he said looking back at the young woman. “i know. that’s gotta suck.” he told her as he turned off his music and picked up his coffee and drunk some of the hot liquid. “do you remember where you were when you last had it?” he asked her setting his coffee cup down.
She paled, thinking about losing all that information. “I think here,” she kept her voice level, trying to show no signs of worry. But, she was panicking just a little. “I think it may have fallen out of my bag,” she admitted, clasping her hands together, nervousness showing on the hands.
“Uh. Hi. Have you seen a leather bound sketch book? It has a few pages sticking out of it, and the name Janet written on the cover in the bottom right corner,” she paused, letting out a sigh, then added, mostly to herself. “If this is gone, it’ll be a terrible fucking way to start the New Year.”
wilsonsfw:
handing the girl the food, wilson shook his head. “hey will! thank you so much for bringing me food! i’m fuckin’ starving and i love seein’ your face in the morning!” the boy said, his voice raised as if he were mocking the girl that he had come to visit. “nah– for real though, j. i’m not that fuckin’ loud. i’m not gonna wake up lil’ suz.” will told the girl, taking one of the coffees from the carrier before taking a sip. “aren’t you happy to see me? do i get a thanks?”
After a moment, and a sip of the coffee, she seemed to be a little more alive. She relaxed, and set the coffee down, pulling her dark hair into a low ponytail. “Thanks for this, Will,” she said, her voice low and hoarse from waking up. “I’m fucking ecstatic, can’t you see it on my face?” That was a joke, because clearly, she wasn’t grinning ear to ear, not that she did that anyhow. She just looked tired, bare faced. She was still in her pajamas, which were a loose t-shirt and sweatpants, for she didn’t even know he was coming over. “To what do I owe the pleasure, Wilson?”
itszanex:
“Got mistaken for a 15 year old again at work. I’m 23. I have an art degree, for crying outloud!” Zane sighed, and sipped his coffee. “I can’t wait for the day they let me start hosting my own art shows, instead of selling everyone else’s paintings. I know I have to work my way up, but still.”
“...Well, in a few years, it won’t matter how old you look as long as you’ve got your goal, right?”
alcssxndra:
if she could turn back time about 2 hours, she could’ve prevented looking like an idiot in the middle of seattle. as the other approached, she eyed her apperance, rolling her eyes quickly. she propped the suitcase up, glancing in the direction of the other’s thumb gesture. hearing the snarky remark, her eyebrow rose. “and you could use more happiness and less bitch face, princess,” the girl retorted.
She raised her eyebrows at the retort, before pulling out her earbuds. “This is just my face,” she replied, deadpan. She wasn’t trying to be rude-- she just hated talking. It didn’t come easy to her. “You shouldn’t be alienating people when you’re this new,” she said, completely serious. “Seattle might be the land of coffee and hipsters, but America’s not the same as wherever you’re from.” This wasn’t meant to be a quip, though, often her words came off like one. It's terrifying if one was alone. She tried to soften her appearance a little, her shoulders slumping as if she had let her guard down. “Do you need help getting there?”
fckathenas:
She kept a smile on her face regardless of the girls obvious tentative behavior. “Oh it’s nice to meet you Janet! I think i’ve actually already bumped into Suzy! I didn’t know you guys were sisters!” The blonde girl nodded her head and smiled even wider as the girl took the plate of cookies and invited her in. “Yeah, that would be awesome!”
She nodded, and attempted something of a smile, if it could be called that. It wasn’t she didn’t like the girl, she had no issues for someone she’s just met, but Janet was not the greatest at socializing. “Oh, that’s good, yeah,” she replied. “She’s a sweet kid.” Janet opened the door for her to step through, and looked around. “Sorry about the mess, uh, been meaning to clean, I’ve just been working,” she said, looking at the sketches tacked to the bare walls, and the tarot cards, presumably Suzy’s, littering the ground. “Do you want coffee or something?”
riverking:
“Yes, I think I might need a hint. There are too many possibilities.”
“It’s older sounding. Uncommon these days, unless you’re 50-something.”
