hii! i've been thinking about asriel dust 2.0 for a while. i know that in continuation of that theory person in UNUSED is not dess, butttt i have a thought. so, if it is dess, UNUSED is in the game files, in deltarune, as in "survey" program that connects us to the control of the soul. so it is linked to the soul directly, sits right beside it... wouldn't it be more fitting to be the sign, that dess is in this red heart shaped object? u know, there's more metaphorical signs, like sword route mini game with black deer that we control, but this one is like. theeee sign. most literal of all? i know it being asriel is important too but that's just an alternative idea. i was thinking about that undertale is a parallel to the deltarune and dess to asriel seems like what chara was to him in undertale (as in, if asriel and kris were trying to imagine an undertale-like world with hometown people, then kris would be like frisk (not them, just like.. "stand in", of you will) and chara would be, most likely, december, at least i think so. don't think that they come all the way to imagine this all plot with accuracy to what will happen to them soon, but if those worlds are parallel, and we know what happened in undertale...)
not really related to the thought: nighthawk has somewhat similar not so theory but speculation where its susie who will "fuse" in some way with kris (mostly based on that the girl panel has a heart of the cage in girl's chest, but there was a lot more, srry if over explaining) and they recently released a video about things that inspired utdr in some way or another based on a list of what toby fox said inspired him. and they discovered that one of the games on that list, illusions of gaia i think, has a plot where two characters, main one and a princess (they also look alike to skies forever blue characters) at some point fuse... nighthawk explained it in their video, but u may find out yourself what the game is about and how toby may have inspired, they said that its their interpretation of what may had inspired him, soooo yeah that's all :D love your videos big brain guy!!

Thank you for the kind words! And I can see the logic of the UNUSED character being Dess for sure. Her and Asriel are for sure the top candidates for that role. I recently found out about some Flowey dialogue that he leaves in an Echo Flower which sounds almost identical to the Chapter 1 UNUSED dialogue, so that makes me think it’s Asriel even more. But it’s definitely an interesting mystery. I also 100% agree with theories that other characters (Susie and/or Noelle) will carry the Red Soul in the later Chapters. Not familiar with that specific video, but sounds reasonable from what you said. As for the Avatar, it isn’t actually AI. It’s just got an AI filter on it from back in the early days of AI, when AI was regarded as quirky and useless, lol. I’ve switched back to the non-AI-filter version on most accounts. Forgot I was still using it here, since I haven’t used Tumblr in a minute. Hope that clears things up. x)
