I don't know if you've covered this in a video already - I'm still going through your Deltarune playlist and am only 8 videos in - but: If Rouxls Kaard made a fake SAVE point to dupe the heroes, would that mean he's 1. one of the only characters aside from Kris and maaaybe Ralsei who can see them, and 2. knows enough about their function and how Kris works to know that Kris would try to SAVE there?

Could be! It's entirely feasible that he has gained some secret knowledge and has used that to his advantage. It could also be that he thought a faint twinkling object would attract our attention and make us think it was an item of some sort. There's no way to know for sure which was his logic.
