MUSE IS UNDER TRUTH SERUM FOR ONE HOUR. ASK ME ANYTHING. NOTHING IS OFF LIMITS AND EVERYTHING MUST BE ANSWERED. GO!
♆
Send ♆ for something my muse hates.
People that excuse their hate and horrible behaviors, excusing things like xenophobia because immigrants are “stealing jobs” when truth is that immigrants don’t care what kind of job you offer them they will take them and even worst people will hire them because they ask for less money and work harder into the points of exploitation, they are victims and not job thieves. Excuses for racism, xenophobia, and homophobia (he is against both words because the irrational fear for both just means you are and big asshole) are just a way to free people from their guilt and think they are being reasonable when they commit a crime or attack others, when in reality they are just very bad people full of hate, fear and inferior complex that is translated in violence.
Send ღ for a crush my muse has had.
Kayla Green, she was his first crush, but never really made a move because he always thought that he was just the best friend, he was not even the cooler friend of his friends he was just the nice guy, not that he thinks of himself as the ugly, he just always saw the guys Kayla falled for and well, he wasn't really the kind, so he never made a riskier move to avoid making things awkward. Now, things are more complicated and it's not just his insecurities but all these years of lies that have come between them and his new condition.
Send ✿ for a happy memory.
The first time he learned drive a bike with his brother, even if his father was there teaching him and he always let him tell everyone he told both of his boys how to ride a bike, true was it was his brother the one who actually told him a few tricks not to be afraid of falling, to overcome the fear of failing or to face something new. Whenever he felt this way, he always took a deep breath and hear his brother say: "If you fall with style, you will beat failing at his own game."

cursedinferno:
The voice brought Ali out of his trance with a jolt causing him to take a step back from his new company. ❝Oh… you haven’t…❞ Ali didn’t recognize the man and thus kept his guard up. ❝The forest feels different now… After the eclipse, I mean.❞ Ali took a deep breath, noting the hesitance in their own approach to the interaction. ❝I probably sound like a freak, sorry…❞ Ali winced and nodded, despite the daydreams of a forest left in ashes left in the back of his mind. ❝It is. Beautiful, really… A great place to think.❞
Jasper fixed his backpack looking at the horizon but listening with attention what they had to say "Good to know" He took a deep breath and nodded "Yes, but don't we all, the world has changed since it" He still didn't felt like himself since that time, it was true that things haven't been the same for anyone afterwards "You are not, there's a lot of research that eclipses are the start or the end of something, so I think you are right". He smiled looking at the same place they were "It truly is".
cursedinferno:
▌█ OPEN
Ali stood on the edge of the forest, staring into the trees. Beneath his boots, dry leaved crunched with a lack of saturation and she felt flames calling to him from within his veins. With a deep breath, he lifted her hand before him and turned it over, imagining how the flames would look dancing across his skin while remaining under his control. The daydream was quickly dissipated by the reality that even one spark from him had the potential to disintegrate half of the forest. After a moment, he sighed and lowered his hand to fall once more by his side.
❝Not today…❞
Jasper had been trying to stay away from the town and the people, he just needed a break from everything and back when he was younger, he used to come to the forest to relax, to think about his problems from another point of view and even if he didn't know how to deal with his problems now, he just needed to have that break. As he walked around the forest he heard someone talk and even if he could have gone the other way the person didn't sound okay, so he took a deep breath and walk to where the voice came.
"Hey, I'm sorry to bother you, just passing by" Jasper offered smiled "Lovely place, isn't it?".
Open Your Eyes
Jasper was trying to be logical about this situation, he knew it was the eclipse but was supposed to feel more in control, he had work hard to feel that way, it was like all the pain was just in vain, he wasn’t really hungry or angry, he was just having like an extreme panic attack, having a hard time breathing, it felt like the air that he was breathing was thick blood.
He was trying to distract himself, hearing some calm tunes and drinking a warm cup of blood as he looked at the window. “Good I have been talking to you all this time” Jasper turned around took look at his best friend, surprised for not hearing her come in, Kayla had a spare key for emergencies but he was supposed to have his senses more alive and alert, how could he not hear her or just sensed her presence “What? I didn’t hear you get in?” She snorted and rolled her eyes “You are so pathetic.” He was so shocked from cruel words that he couldn't think of a coherent come back. “ See just a waste… just do it!” Jasper felt like they were talking to a different language, he couldn’t follow what was she talking about or why, “DO IT” She screamed looking at his heart, the young vampire looked down to found a wooden stake in his heart, his body began to burn as he loudly screamed.
Jasper woke up quickly on a chair in a dark room, he had felt this way before, he had been in this situation before, he blinked trying to see where was him, but everything was so dark, he stood up to turn the light, but he immediately realize he was walking in a pool of blood, he could feel a panic attack hit him one more time, where was him, before he could do anything to answer that, some claps made him turn around “That was such an impressive performance” Iniko smiled at him “I have to say, I had my doubts but you have shown me that you would do anything I ask” She began to walk to him, he was scared not sure if of her or of the situation but as he walk back he step into a body, only to find his mother dead corpse on the floor.
This had to be a dream, he had to wake up, Jasper began to shook his head, this was no right, this was a nightmare, he could hear a familiar female voice on his back but there was nothing more than shadows, he couldn’t put a face or a name, but he knew that voice “Can you taste it, is like tasting all his memories, all her life, you love it don’t you” Jasper was freeze trying to wake up, but the hands of the woman began to touch him “I knew blood was your biggest aphrodisiac” That was it, he turned around only to find himself looking down at the ledge of his building.
through pain; iniko + jasper
@jasper–king
While it seemed that the atmosphere in Moon Island had been calm the past few days, she knew that she shouldn’t get comfortable with it. Iniko continued her plans, trying to come up with something that would be useful in the near future, anything that could lead her to the position of power, being the one who would become the head priestess of every witch in the island. A war could start at any point, if they were strong enough, Iniko could be the one who would make the first move. It was a matter of being prepared, and knowing that there was a chance things wouldn’t go as planned. And, because of it, Iniko knew that she had to make the members of her coven stronger.
And that particular day, her target was Jasper King. He knew the consequences of her plan and so did she, once he accepted her idea, all they needed was a day and a time, and after the full moon, when nothing truly happened to the supernatural beings in town, Iniko knew that it was the right time. After all, it could also mean that there was a storm coming. Practicing by herself a night before, meditating, asking for guidance. Nothing could go wrong. It wasn’t just a matter of inflicting pain and making him gain control through it, he needed to want that for himself just as much as Iniko wanted him to have control over his hunger. Even if this wasn’t the best way to learn that, it was the way she was providing. Luckily, he’d manage to get control and she wouldn’t get hurt in the process.
Opening the door to the old house she used to live with her aunt, Iniko invited the vampire in, closing the door once he was inside. “I hope you haven’t changed your mind about our plans, because I look forward to seeing you succeed and gaining control over who you are now.” She replied, with a positive tone while sharing a smile. She wasn’t lying, there was no reason why she should. Jasper was a better ally than she thought he would be, and with that, she felt she could give him something in return. “We’ll just follow through this corridor until the basement and we’ll be locked in there until you feel you can control it. If you’d like to do this more than once, we could. If you feel you could be strong enough to try this during a next full moon, I could find a way to make it happen. Just know that I’m here for you.”
After their talk, life had changed a little for Jasper, if he could still refer to his unliving condition as life, he had been reading more and more about the story of the town, the history of his kind and things that would come handy not to get himself killed, but more important to be useful to the people that had took him under their wing.
Jasper knew exactly what was coming and even more, he had decided to think of the worst, if he wanted to the quickest way out of it, it was going to be the hardest and probably the most painful one, but Iniko had shown him that she knew well what she was doing and that she had a lot more experience in this matters that he could ever have so he decided to put his life on her hands.
As he waited for her to opened the door, Jasper looked around the streets, he was nervous, as much as he had tried to prepare himself for the worst he was still a bit lost on what she had planned for him, but fear wasn’t as strong as his need to be better, to know that he could be in control of the monster that was inside of him. When he heard her words he smiled and shook his head “No, I’m nervous but I’m here for whatever you have planned that will make me better”. He thought her words and nodded “Okay, I think I would like all of those options, as long it makes me better and more useful I’m in, no matter if I have to go to hell and come back I just really want to be useful, to be able to help and make a difference.” It was what he wanted to do back when he was a human and it was still what he wanted to do as a vampire.
cleosprague:
She wondered what that was like, not knowing her maker… being thrown into a life of immortality and blood thirst with no one to help. Cleo shrugged off his politeness. “I was tired of living in someone else’s shadow.” That was the truth, and it stung even now to say it out loud. But part of it had also been her infatuation with So-Young, the only person who had ever seen her true fucked up self and still stayed. It made things easier to make the decision but if she was being honest, Cleo had days when she wondered if she had made the right choise. Cold feet.
She smiled at his next question, “I guess that’s what we’ll do. There is so much out there to discover, to learn.” He still sounded bitter, clearly his transition hadn’t been the best or the easiest, and for a moment Cleo felt bad for him.
“Well, do you have help now? Someone who can help you– control it?”
Her words echoed on the back of his head, he couldn't put on her shoes and as much as he could lie to be polite being in the shadows of someone else was definitely the weakest excuse he could have come up with. "Has it change it now?" He was a nobody to tell her he had done wrong but at least he could just ask her to see if her choice had been the best and wiser choice.
Jasper smiled "Can't deny that, it's a big world and it's changing by the minute, traveling around sounds like an amazing plan, but I meant if you had a job?" He kept wondering around if he could do it if there were vampires who had professions and lived their life a bit more normal.
He could have said no, but he had someone, maybe not someone he would call a maker or even a teacher, but a leader that would help him how to deal with it quick "After a long time it seems like I do."
cleosprague:
She nodded at his question, “I’m guessing you didn’t.” She expected some sort of shock at why any human would ever want to trade their life to be a monster, but Cleo never really saw it that way, maybe because her maker was hardly the image of a killer despite knowing now just what their species was capable of. The first time she had killed had been a rude awakening, but the guilt didn’t consume her the way it would most- she had So-Young to thank for that, her soft comforting and whispers that everything would be okay to soothe her panic and fear.
“Uh– she knows someone here,” Cleo answered as vaguely as possible, unsure of whether or not she was supposed to reveal the real reason why and who they had come to Moon Island for. “We probably won’t be sticking around for long, but who knows.”
At the other’s reply, her eyes flickered to glance up at him. He seemed to dislike it, as if he were still adapting to a new life. “Wow– they really fucked you up then, your maker.” Why else would he answer in the way he did?
He shrugged “I didn’t, I didn’t even know what had happened to me after I did something horrible” Jasper wondered how it worked if he was the anomaly if vampires came to you and asked you, like joining the army or something like that where you had to pass a test. “So you did, why? If you don’t mind that I ask.”
“And what do you do, go around the world and traveled?” It was a nice way of living, but he was still planning to be a lawyer but was that even possible, to have a normal job in his new condition. He snorted “That’s what you can say about a hit and run, they commit the crime and run away like nothing had happened, leaving the mess behind.”
emmanuelxalpha:
“Exactly! Having the power to think about what you say before you say it is a great thing. And it allows people to really listen to what you have to say.” He smiled, knowing he had a similar viewpoint. “I guess that is very true. I never thought of it like that. Though I guess I think too fast with crosswords. Like the words aren’t necessarily right until you get the next clue. I’m one of those types of people who don’t like to make mistakes the first time around if that makes sense.”
“Sadly, people forget about taking a minute to think what to say and how to say it, words can start a war or ended it with the right words, but people usually follow to more visceral words in which you can feel related”. He smiled and nodded “Yeah mistakes are a tricky thing, but they give you experience and eventually you get better at it.”
cleosprague:
She nodded slowly, not really taking the answer to memory before shrugging at his question. “Sort of, I followed my maker. I go wherever she goes, basically.” It was better for the new lifestyle, though. Less bodies, less temptation. But it did little for her nerves. “I miss the city though,” she mumbled, glancing in whatever direction California was. Some days Cleo felt homesick, but a reminder of her old life was enough for the newborn to shove all emotions into a pit of anger. She felt everything. Always. “You like being one?”
Now that was something he was not used to it, was he an abandoned child, he had no idea how turned him, he didn't have a maker, and probably if he had he would be sure how to react to it. "So you asked for this?" As much as he knew there were good reasons to become a vampire how bad your life as a human was to give up her freedom. "It's hard to be back in a small town when you were used to a city, what makes you and your maker come here?" He took a sip of his coffee and shrugged "It doesn't matter does it, I'm one and there's no really a way to go back to my life."
cleosprague:
He looked harmless– some vampires did. Most used it to their advantage when it came to prey. Cleo felt herself ease just a bit before nodding at him. “Yeah, I got in not too long ago… Just been keeping it on the DL,” she replied. “How long have you been here? Been a–” she stopped short, glancing around to see if anyone else was listening in on their conversation.
“Well, actually I used to live here before I went away to college” He wasn’t really sure if it was okay to say that he was a rookie, after all, if they were at war he should appear to be better at the whole vampire thing. “I’m guessing you came here because of your new lifestyle?.” Since she had stopped he took the advantage of the conversation.
emmanuelxalpha:
“Oh I definitely will have to try that next time. And I’ll let you know what I think.” He smiled while beginning to dig into his own muffin. “Words are a very powerful thing, so it’s good that you can do that. I just like the logic type puzzles, using deduction to figure out answers and all that.”
“Please do” He was not sure if they would meet again but why would he be rude to a person that was obviously nice to him. Jasper smiled “Yes they are, people usually don’t realize how powerful they are until they have said the wrong thing or driven into a problem for it” He chuckled a little “Actually this puzzle is just as logical as a sudoku, you are given a clue to guide you to the right word, and you know it works because it fits perfectly in the puzzle or not”.
