Okay but imagine 17 year old Mickey and all people have ever talked about him is that he's the dirtiest white boy in America and how being a Milkovich means he's only destined to be a criminal and he himself thinks he's fucked for life but then there's this boy who smiles at him in a way no one ever has, and who thinks he smells nice, and who runs to Mickey when he needs comfort and he's the first person ever to put his hand over Mickey's and the first person who tells Mickey, I miss you, and he's the first person who bothers to make the effort to look past his "Southside thug" reputation, so for the first time in forever, Mickey's thinks maybe he's not completely fucked for life.

Debs (4:52pm): WHERE THE FUCK IS MY POTATO MASHER MICKEY

Ian notices his phone lighting up with the group chat messages. 

“Mick?” He shouts to his husband, who's unpacking boxes of shit in the kitchen. 

“What’s up?” Mickey yells back. 

“Did you take Debbie’s potato masher thingie?”

Mickey steps around the corner, holding the offending object in his hand. “This thingie? Yeah. Fuckin’ told her I was coming back for it.”

Ian can’t hold in his laughter. Of all the things Mickey’s ever stolen, this is by far the funniest.

Ian (4:54pm): Good luck getting it back Debs…
