Are you guys taking part in the tumblr boycott on the 17th?
We don’t plan on actively participating in this. Based on how busy we’ve been all week there most likely won’t be any posts tomorrow but neither of us really think the boycott is going to make much of a difference. Tumblr seems to have made up their minds on this. At this point we’re saving our judgment on the new policies until they’ve been around for a bit so we can see how it goes and decide where to go from there.
It sure is that time in the semester and I’d like to cry over something not assignment related. Y’all have any angst to break my heart?

Now he shares an apartment with his best friend Tim Drake as they attempt to simply exist in the city known for eating people alive.
(A somewhat more modern take of RENT. If you haven’t seen it, grab some tissues and settle in for the long haul.)
For what it’s worth: This fic is absolutely wonderful & amazing.

For what it’s worth:If you want a fic that tugs at your heart this one is it, it’s so good.

That is a great question! Honestly a lot of these will be previously recommended (potentially all of them) because I really love fics with great visualization and I think that’s a pretty good start for a movie. Also!!! I’d love to hear other people’s ideas on what fics would make good movies! Here are those ideas~

“Stop!” Nightwing screamed as the Red Hood pressed the barrel against Tim’s head. The boy wonder groaned as Hood’s heavy armored arm squeezed around his neck, cutting off his air further and choking him.
“This one’s mine, now,” Hood’s mechanical voice sneered, taunting him. Nightwing quickly darted his eyes between the unforgiving red mask and Robin’s strained, pleading face in a panic. Hood took a step back, dragging Tim with him towards the edge of the roof.
“Wait, no! Take-…take me,” he pleaded, reaching an arm out towards Tim helplessly in a wordless plea. Dick almost gasped with relief when Hood paused in clear interest. Dick dropped to his knees.
“Take me.”
For what it’s worth: This would probably be rated R but I think it would make a fantastic movie! This fic is so well written and includes so many good scenes it would make SUCH a good movie.
Bite Me to the Bone by elwon
After six months walking around with a beating heart, Dick wishes he could use the speed, strength and abilities he’s used to. Because he’s still a soulless demon deep down. Being able to walk in the daylight and eat pizza do not make up for this utter humiliation and punishment. But then the Red Hood appears, and things start to look up.
For what it’s worth: This is the first fic I thought of when I read this ask, it would make an absolutely amazing movie and I can totally picture everything that happens (especially flashbacks??? ugh this would be so cool)

For what it’s worth: Okay so this is slightly different because I really think that the overall story would work really well as a TV series, but like… the story of how they met/got together or some event in their lives would make a fantastic movie.

So there are pretty much… 0 teacher/student AU’s. There’s a few with teachers so I’ll recommend those, but unfortunately we don’t have any that are teacher/student as far as I can tell. Here you go~

Jason Todd hated to break bad news to parents, not usually cause of the news itself, mainly cause he just hated to deal with parents who thought he should suddenly be every one of his students parent when they were at school. He was a teacher, he seriously did not get paid enough for that. But he called in Damian’s father cause he knew it was the only way to get through to the kid. He was expecting Dick Grayson to be like many of the other parents that darkened his door way, but he was nothing at all like his expectations and he was also unfairly attractive. And single.
For what it’s worth: Absolutely adorable. I love the idea of Jason being a teacher and Dick as a parent I think it’s amazing.
Wayne Academy for the Incredibly Gifted and Annoying by Living_Free
Bruce Wayne is the well regarded founder and principal of the illustrious Wayne Academy. He runs a tight ship, and he likes few things - his job, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, and Damian.
He does not like Mr. Kent, Nurse Todd, or Mr. Harper.
And yet, they will all come together to keep Wayne Academy running on a day to day basis.
For what it’s worth: Cute & funny plus Jason is a nurse which just matches him so well!

Lol I thought the same! But it appears several tags with dick in it are still available, I agree with the person that said that it’s probably the amount of nsfw content that’s in the tag as that appears to be what tumblr is working on right now. Hopefully it all gets cleared up soon! I know someone said you can report the issue to tumblr so I will check the links and make a post so everyone is able to help out with reporting if they would like! 😊

OKAY so, for anyone wondering I did some searching and it appears that recently tumblr starting updating things due to some inappropriate content involving minors that was found on the site. They’ve been deleting/purging a lot of things but only in regards to this matter.
This is similar to what happened a few years ago where all the nsfw tags were blocked (which is what’s happening now) so I think the tags will be working again at some point (when I have no clue).
This is all I could find, but hopefully people find this helpful.

(part 2) Omg, ahhh sorry that was totally my bad. All your posts have just not been showing up on my dashboard for some reason. I got two in the past two weeks, so I was a bit confused. Sorry about that!!!
So I know you probably didn’t think you were right the first time but you kind of were lol (but I’m sure tumblr is just hiding posts) so basically our posts are super sporadic now because we are super busy due to school/holidays/life/other things as soon as the new year starts I will do my best to get things back on track and make sure that we’re posting daily again, until then we are trying to get things posted at least 1-2 things posted a week to keep everything moving along.
