Ballet AU illustration for a oneshot fanfiction called “Shall we dance?”

Summary: Dipper and Mabel have been interested in ballet since they were little. However, only Mabel was the one who got into the National Dance Academy to fulfill her dream of becoming a ballet star. Dipper is disappointed but tries to accept the fate that he will never dance on stage. One day, however, their fate cards turn over, and Mabel twists his ankle just before the start of the performance, where she dances the lead role. And that's why she comes up with a crazy plan: she lets Dipper pretend to be her, and together with Bill (the biggest ballet star and Dipper's secret crush) they dance the ballet performance...

Hi novice ballerina and erasermic fan here. I just want to let you know that I love this AU with my entire heart and also I want Eraser and Mic to do a pas de deux at some point

NewTina Dance AU

-Newt and Leta have been dancing as ballet partners since they were five, and they are now 22 and 21

-Leta gets accepted into the college of her dreams, Newt unfortunately doesn’t get accepted into the same one (for angsty reasons duh)

-Leta keeps dancing in London at the Royal Ballet School, and Newt gets accepted by the School of American Ballet

-Leta and Newt share a hard goodbye and a last dance

-anYWAY!!! Little British boy Newt hops on a plane and finds himself in a run down apartment in the middle of NYC with no job or friends and so he runs out to get some tea because tea solves everything

-Newt ends up a few blocks away from the School of American Ballet at a little corner cafe where he meets Jacob Kowalski and his heavily pregnant fiance, Queenie Goldstein

-They chit chat and exchange numbers and Queenie tells him lots of stories about her older sister, who dances for TSOAB too after Newt shares why he’s in NYC

-Newt is like hyped cause maybe this Tina will be as nice as Queenie and they’ll be great friends

-shes not

-Newt meets Tina and he kind of wants to rip his hair out

-Tina and Percival Graves used to be dance partners but Percival cheated on her as a lover and Tina couldn’t keep dancing with someone she couldn’t trust

-The Ballet Master (Seraphina Picquery, a retired Prima Ballerina) is like fuck it and assigns Newt and Tina as new partners

-They have trouble at first, as Newt is much more wiry and graceful than Percival was and Tina is much more stocky and powerful than Leta was

-They spend long nights practicing, arguing, and dancing

-When they finally get their part down Tina accidentally kisses Newt on the cheek and thats when Newt starts to notice that he may be falling in love with Tina

-Percival is rather jealous of Newt but lets not talk about that
