I figured that Tumblr treats artists better which is why I’m gonna give you a collection of old art. I’m a huge Marvel nerd since 2019 and still going, lol, crazy stuff. Never thought it was a phase, but it still surprises me how long I’ve loved this universe.
First of these, Zemo was drawn while I was having a fever on a plane, it was done within 3 hrs, drawn with my finger, on my phone. Idk, I draw better when I’m suffering. Zemo’s a great character, he has a lot of potential and I hope to see him in future projects
Next of Spider-Man was a commission for my brother’s friend. They were children so it was free. It was my, I believe, third traditional realism drawing. The reflections were so fun to do.
Bucky was drawn in a state of calm and fangirling. I love him so much but he was so hard to draw, I remember distinctly erasing again and again for his nose and eyes. He’s just too majestic I guess.
Sorry for all the drawings being in non chronological! Iron Man was my first successful traditional realism drawing. Beforehand, I’ve practically given up on traditional realism. I was messing around with my style, and doing digital art. But I guess something clicked that day, and I gifted the piece to my history teacher. He still has it, he recently asked if I wanted to return to the school and visit.
LOKI!!! My absolute bias. I love him. Literally the best, and he was the reason I really got into the Marvel fandom. I was obsessed after I watched the first Loki season. I could rant on and on but I’ll spare you. That drawing was me experimenting with colors and digital realism. I was inspired by chantal.art and hammerings on insta because their styles are gorgeous. Hands were such a struggle, but since that drawing on, I’ve improved a lot! And I gave him black nail polish cause the directors were cowards.
Last but not least, Daredevil. I drew some of this on a plane as well, but lost motivation. I stopped working on it for over half a year I believe, before I picked it back up and finished it. Same as the Zemo one, it was all with my finger and my phone. I was really proud of it and wanted to print a copy to give to Charlie Cox since he was at Fan expo. Unfortunately school got in the way and I couldn’t go.
