"I can't believe you won't let me win, that is just so rude." She joked and looked at him. "I'm kidding, you know I come here for fun and to see how things are going with Kiara."
Jeremy chuckled, crossing his arms with a smirk. "Oh please, like I’d just let you win—where’s the fun in that? But hey, if you’re here for fun and Kiara updates, you’re in luck, because I’ve got plenty of both. So, what do you wanna hear first? The wholesome stuff or the juicy details?" he teases.
Lana gasped abit and playfully hit him “ Oh shut up,” she said before laughing abit. Then nodded her head “But yes I am considering. I just don’t want Nyla to grow up being the only child. You know I heard that only child syndrome is real,” she told him. “ I mean not adopting but actually having one. Seeing Nyla with a little baby brother would be cute and beneficial,” she nodded before picking up another outfit. She held it up “ I mean look at this! Isn’t this cute?” She said as she held up a shirt that said “Uncles Drinking Buddy 🍼🍺”
Jeremy's eyes lit up as he saw the tiny shirt, and he let out an excited laugh. "Are you kidding me? That’s not just cute—that’s a must-have! If you're serious about this, Lana, then I fully expect to be the coolest uncle ever. Nyla having a little sibling? That’s already adorable, but me getting a new drinking buddy in the making? Now that’s a win-win!"
"I probably will, but honestly, I come here to just hang out with you. We both know I'm better at tattooing people than I am at bowling."
Jeremy smirked and nudged Damon. "Well, yeah, if bowling involved inking pins instead of knocking them down, you'd be a legend. But until then,stick to what you're actually good at—making people regret their spontaneous tattoo decisions while I order us some wings." Jer says with a laugh. "But no man seriously you are not that bad at bowling. I mean I've seen worse but hey, it's all in the name of fun right? anyway how have you been man? Business going well?"
"Hey, I don't come here to be good at bowling, I come here to have fun." She laughed and looked at him. "How have you been?"
Jeremy grinned as he grabbed a french fry from the table. "Oh, you know, thriving in my career as the worst bowler in town," he said with a wink. "But other than that? I’ve been good. What about you?"
"How long have you practiced that line?" Patrick said and laughed, rolling his eyes at his friend's playful banter." Did you invent that one at the crappers? because that's where it belongs, along with your bowling skills" He said as he grabbed one of the wings and took a bite of it.
Jeremy smirked and leaned back in his chair, grabbing a wing for himself. "Oh, Patrick, that’s rich coming from someone whose bowling skills could be outclassed by a toddler with a plastic set. But hey, at least you’re consistent—in trash talk and gutter balls." He grinned as he took a bite of his wing.
"Someone needs to take technology away from Boomers and older people. I just heard this woman at one of the shops say that the Facebook told her that she was going to win money because of her profile being randomly selected by Mark himself." @rededgerpstarterblog
Jeremy couldn't help but chuckle at Axel's words, "Ugh, classic. They fall for those scams because they don't know any better, but honestly, it’s not their fault. The internet wasn't around when they were growing up, so no one taught them how to spot this stuff. Someone really needs to give them a crash course on 'not everything you read online is true 101.'" Jer says saying his head. "Poor lady will be very disappointed. Anyway, how have you been man? Besides eaves dropping on people?" he teases.
Jeremy slid the plate of chicken wings across the table with a grin, eyeing his friend’s bowling score. "Here you go—fuel for your next round of gutter balls. Maybe the wings will give you some actual wings, ‘cause you’re gonna need divine intervention to beat me tonight." @rededgerpstarterblog
"No, no, you don’t understand. I would actually choose you over fries. And I really love fries," Jeremy said, a playful grin spreading across his face as he leaned against the doorframe. "Which is why we are actually going to your favorite place to eat tonight." Jer looks at his girlfriend with a cheesy smile and asked, "So where do you want to go tonight babe?" @kiaraxlangford
Lana chuckled and turn her body to look at him more as she lowered the piece of clothing. " Heyyy what's wrong with Noah's nose? I think his nose is pretty cute," she nodded. Then she placed the baby onesie back on the rack as she bite her lip. " I mean... I was going to wait til next coffee chat yeah but..." she trailed off as she shrugged her shoulders. " I'm kinda really thinking about it," she nodded slowly.
Jeremy raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms with a smirk. "What's wrong with Noah's nose? Oh, nothing, Lana, nothing—unless you're into tiny human potato noses. But hey, we all have our quirks." He glanced at the baby onesie she just placed back. "Wait, wait, back up. Are you saying you're seriously considering... what, adopting a baby, or is this just a 'Lana moment' where you're overthinking things while trying to pick out a new coffee creamer?" He leaned in slightly, lowering his voice dramatically. "Because if it's the baby thing, I need at least a week to prepare emotionally. And by 'prepare emotionally,' I mean practice my cool uncle moves."
"It's honestly a miracle that Paco and I or Florez Bar hasn't ended up on the evening news, so much bullshit happens there, we could have our own show about it." Mariana laughed. "Hey, I only have Pop-Tarts for dinner whenever I work nights at the bar, other times, I just forget to eat dinner." She shrugged. "Sweet, I will be there and I highly doubt it, Cassie and I are going to win."
Jeremy's dad chuckled at Mariana's remark. "Oh, don’t underestimate the chaos potential, Mariana. Between the bar shenanigans and your Pop-Tart dinners, I might need to pitch that show idea to the network. But hey, if you're coming over, just remember you’re on dinner duty! And I’ll provide the actual food. Let’s see if you and Cassie can win with a full belly instead of a sugar high!" He grinned, shaking his head playfully. "Good luck, though—I’m sure you two will be unstoppable!" Jeremy couldn't help but smile at Mariana. He loved it when Mariana would come over and hang out with Cassie. We were all like a big happy family and it made Jay feel whole again.
He walked up to the lane, casually adjusting his grip on the ball, not giving Jeremy the satisfaction of a reaction. "Well, Jeremy, you know me." Lucas said, his voice smooth and confident. "I never do anything halfway." He took a couple of steps back, looking over the lane with a feigned air of deep concentration. "So yeah, maybe I'll shock you with a perfect strike, or maybe… I'll just give you something to talk about for years to come. Either way, you’ll remember this." With a wink, he released the ball—smooth, calculated, but with just the right amount of flair to make sure it didn’t just roll straight down the lane.
Jeremy leaned against the side of the lane, arms crossed, a smirk playing on his lips. "Oh, I’d be shocked alright, Lucas,” he replied, his tone dripping with sarcasm. “Shocked if you actually manage to hit the pins at all. I mean, you’re a master at making excuses, but striking? That’s a whole different ball game.” As Lucas’s ball curved toward the pins, Jeremy raised an eyebrow and added, “Let’s be real—if you pull off a strike, I might have to start taking notes on how to add drama to a plain old game of bowling. And if not? Well, I guess I’ll have plenty of material for my ‘Lucas Misfires’ collection. Either way, tonight’s going to be memorable.” He chuckled, watching the ball roll, ready to enjoy whatever outcome came next. "Anyways, how has your holidays been? Do anything special?"
"Someone didn't say it to me though, they said it to Devin when her and I were just on a walk. Devin in return called her a bitch, and when I asked Devin what that was about and what a pick me was, she told me not to worry about it." Shane explained and looked at his friend. "No, I think I got what a pick me was, thanks man." He chuckled.
Jeremy raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Classic Devin," he said, shaking his head. "You know she's not one to hold back. But seriously, it sounds like whoever said it was just being petty. It's like some people have this need to make digs instead of just talking straight. Next time, we should just start calling people out on their nonsense. What do you think?" He leaned back against the wall, a playful gleam in his eye. "I mean, if they can't handle the heat, they shouldn't throw shade, right?"

Mariana laughed. "I totally should, though if I let Paco get near that family, it might not end well. Neither of us are big fans of them and lord only knows the bullshit that would spew from Paco's mouth if he met them." She shook her head. "Hey, banana in peanutbutter is so good, don't knock it until you try it! Oh I am so down, just tell me when and I'll be there and Cassie and I will kick your butt."
Jeremy chuckled, shaking his head as he replied, "Oh, Mariana, you're like a grenade in a room full of fireworks with Paco by your side. If he ever met them, I'd better have my running shoes on 'cause things would go sideways real quick, and someone’s gotta make sure you two don't end up on the evening news." He wagged a playful finger at her. "As for your banana and peanut butter obsession—listen, kiddo, I've been on this Earth long enough to know that some things just shouldn't mix. But if it keeps you from eating Pop-Tarts for dinner, I'll call it a win." With a grin, he added, "Game night is happening this Saturday, so clear your calendar. Cassie can bring all her trash talk, but don't get too comfortable. This old man’s got some tricks up his sleeve. Prepare for defeat, kiddo."
"I know, I should have been an actress." Mariana laughed and looked at him. "I only remembered those two because they sound disgusting mixed together, other than that, I don't remember what else was in it." She shook her head. "Oh the usual, keeping Paco out of trouble. He's a handful you know." She laughed.
Jeremy grinned at Mariana’s lightheartedness. "Yeah, I can only imagine! Paco must keep you on your toes. Have you ever thought about auditioning for one of those reality shows? 'Keeping Up with Paco' — it would be a hit!" He chuckled, leaning back in his chair, clearly entertained by the idea. "And I totally get the food combo thing; some things just shouldn't go together. But hey, maybe you could make it a culinary challenge. You never know, you might discover the next big trend! That's something Cassie has really been into lately. Ever since she tried a banana in peanut butter, she's gone to the dark side." Jer laughs. "Speaking of Cassie, though, I'd love it if you'd come to family game night. We miss you there."
"Oh, I don't know man." Lucas said with a slight laugh. "I'm not the best at bowling at all. I think it's fun, but I'm definitely not the best. Besides, I'm here to have fun." He told his friend with a grin. "I'll show them how it's done though, but like I said, I am not the best."
Jeremy smirked, crossing his arms as he leaned back against the scorer's table. "Ah, yes, the classic 'I'm not the best, but I’ll show them how it’s done' move," he teased, his tone dripping with mock seriousness. "You're setting us up for one of two scenarios here: either you pull off some freakishly amazing strikes and we all feel like amateurs, or you flop so hard, it’s immortalized in bowling alley lore." He grinned and grabbed a bowling ball. "Either way, I’m here for the show."
