Trans Prom 2026
First time doing a trans prom artpiece. Thanks to @zaigg for starting this trend, I had a blast making it.
I decided to go with pastel colors for this one to give it a softer feeling, its different from my previous art pieces but overall I loved how this turned out.

I find myself staring at screens quite a lot.
I look at one all day for my job. I relax by looking at the small one I carry around with me. It is the only way I can really reach friends. I need one to make my art....I love these things. But I'm also definitely a slave to them.
My physical book collection continues to grow. But sadly no amount of books can replace my need to bask in the glow of the screens.
You might have noticed the new character model. I'm having fun with blender again and am in slightly better health, so I'm making little unplanned renderings. This one is kinda vent-y, but I still had fun making it, even though it did require more screen time...woo.
Transphobes will claim that trans people are snowflakes who want to be the most Special :tm: things in existence but like I would have sold my heart and soul to have just been another girl in the crowd who didn’t stand out in the slightest

There are many things going on politically that are frustrating, but something that I find even more frustrating is how telegraphed the trajectory we’re currently on was and continues to be.
Roughly two years ago, there was a family member that I outlined how exactly this was going to happen. How certain minorities were going to be labeled as being intrinsically criminal, and how this would lay the groundwork for future atrocities.
I pointed to specific language in Project 2025; Republicans literally spelled out what they were planning to do in advance.
I was ignored.
I’m not sure what it takes to get our fence-sitting “allies” to care, they might never…
…but given enough time and how bad things eventually get, they’ll say they did.

GOD the image quality on this one is gross. Does anyone know how to stop tumblr from rendering my comics at a crisp 144p resolution?
favorite word?
That would have to be Aurora.
The word itself has that feeling of beauty and awe. The imagery I relate it to is the aurora borealis, it shows us evidence of a collision between the cosmic sun and the humble earth. I relate to the aurora; just like a sun particle I feel unseen. Drifting along, having no idea where life will take me. Yet I hope someday I can hit the Earth and form into something bright and beautiful as the aurora above. Everyone has their own journey, so take your time, no need to rush.

This story with the painting is tragically a true story. After staring at the screaming face for a moment, IRL I ended up flipping the canvas around and painting a moth on the back of the canvas. Also, as always, shout out to @mystery-incorporated-whore for her cameo here!
