Sometimes we feel our emotions later, and that’s ok. Take the time to process how you feel, try not to bottle up your emotions and if you need to cry, that’s ok. Cry somewhere safe, cry with someone you trust or somewhere where you feel safe. You aren’t being sensitive, you aren’t being unreasonable, you are expressing how you feel, that’s what humans do. Whether it be right away or weeks, years later, your emotions matter. You matter. Please practice being kind to yourself. Just like I am every day.
