How Shane shows Hayden affection:

-sending “send this to your best friend” social media posts on all social media his mom forces him on

-sends him fan edits on social media, mostly platonic but he has definitely sent non platonic shipper edits to Hayden and Hayden doesn’t say anything

-let’s Hayden hug him (in the epilogue of heated rivalry I love that it’s established that Hayden puts his arms out for hugs and Shane decides to close the gap)

-constantly around him, which is the equivalent to a cat staying in your space

-gets him sponsorships, or more specifically gets his mom to do it. He also probably makes Hayden use the same agent

-if Hayden asks a “what did you do” will say the entire thing of what he did from start to finish in bullet points

-bumps his head against Hayden, both with and without helmets

I love this and I like to think when the bump heads without helmets they sometimes forget their not wearing helmets they knock their heads together harder then necessary because their use to doing hard with helmets.

Yup yup! Also as someone who when I was younger loved head butting my friends arms especially when stressed I think Shane would do that and sometimes Hayden just has a bruise on his arm from his besties affection (and loves it 🥰🥰 because he knows Shane doesn’t do this with like anyone else)
