Vergil falling in love with someone who is the complete opposite of him

Like you are almost everything he isnt

To say the least, when he first met you, it wasn't an easy fun going experience

Well, not for him that is

You were so...excited, like a bundle of joy to meet a man who isolates himself from humans for probably this very reason

You were obviously friends with Dante before hand so that's how you were able to meet Vergil, was through him

There's a reason you and dante get along so well

But somehow (depending on which game we're in) are more than dante himself

You're so optimistic, so easy to talk to and dont immediately call people out for being so stupid (which he finds astounding)

I dont really know how to put this but just think of the classic trope of "grumpy x sunshine"

Yeah, that's basically it

Everyone always make it out like he'd only accept people who are pretty similar to his personality

That isn't to say that people who ARE similar in personality dont fall in love

But let me have this

You were actually a breath of fresh air for this usually stoic wannabe man (we all know he's secretly just a grumpy nerd)

He'd make it out like he's repulsed by your loving and easy going nature but damn did it affect him on a whole different level

It's not easy to get to this man's "cold" heart but once you're there? Baby, you're set

General relationship with him and you is a...lot to unpack

But dont get me wrong! He's all for you

Let's just say you're a mix of easy going and loving while also being energized and silly

Like I said just about everything he's not

At the beginning of the relationship he seems pretty distant (like he would with anyone tbh) but he'd slowly warm up to your radiating aura

Like he'd be in a different room of the house quietly meditating or reading and he'd hear you singing to music while cleaning and a small smile would creep onto his face, cause like I said even if he'd hate to admit it, it was nice to know he wasn't completely alone anymore

He prefers that when you both are in the room together (his version of affection *cough cough* quality time), that there be calmness but let's be fr, he loves to hear you speak about anything and everything on your mind

Like his brother, it's hard to open up about feelings and trying to be emotionally supportive, so dont expect him to be the best at it when the time comes for it

He's honestly amazed at how...energized you can be, like you could dance in the kitchen the entire time you're cooking and not break a sweat for over an hour

But like if you also vocal stim (like me) he'd just look at you all confused like "?? Why is my partner doing this? Is something wrong?"

Once you explain to him about it he'd understand but still be odd about it

Though again he loves it because it reminds him hes not alone and that it makes the house more lively with your bubbly personality

Through and through he loves you deeply and its funny when people find out you two are together cause nobody expected Vergil to get with you or really anyone with that matter
