do you ever think of how… Tragically ironic it is that the more “progressive” a show or piece of media tends to be considered, the worse the fandom is

And it’s so painfully obviously why that is, honestly, because it keeps happening to the point where it’s a pattern

Like not to be fake deep but… Humans are full of shit? These shows and comics and other things get released and then people develop an almost… Obsessive protection over it? Because they feel like it’s going to be “ruined”

Like the Steven Universe fandom drove someone into a suicidal depression just because they drew Rose Quartz thin, and this was drawn before the show had even shown a full body shot of Rose so it was literally an unintentional accident and had nothing to do with “body shaming”. But people lost their shit and they got FURIOUS and Honestly… Totally unjustly so

Overwatch, Homestuck, Dream Daddy. Stuff with racial diversity or LGBT representation get released and people go ballistic because…. callout culture has progressed to such a point that so many people see themselves as some sort of “crusader for the cause” and get downright cruel and totally betraying the moral nature of the media that attracted them

and a lot of times its over downright menial fucking shit that literally isn’t hurting anyone

Really makes one start to think it’s just in human nature to act like garbage

All new skins are pretty!

Maybe because it brings me back WoW Mists of Pandaria vibes(I loved that expansion), or maybe just because they are great!

I am sorry to hear people complaining each time about the new items just because they don’t match some expectations. I have my own faves overall, not only in this event, but in truth I love them all.

Artists and developers always work hard to deliver us even the smallest spray/content. So before jumping and saying it’s ugly af, consider someone worked hard on it. Love and respect are important and Blizzard shows it best through their overall response to their audience. They are a great studio, supportive towards many things.

I am not here to point fingers at or try to lecture, but please, consider twice before making such remarks. Rather just say it doesn’t match your taste as much and use the skin you enjoy most so far :3

Be kind, because it won’t cost you anything. Being the opposite way might cost someone’s confidence in ideas and skills, and this is available for a larger range than just ow skins. Give constructive feedback if you really want to be helpful!
