You remember too much,
my mother said to me recently.
Why hold onto all that? And I said,
Where do I put it down?
Anne Carson, from “The Glass Essay” (via vrban)
To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.
Arundhati Roy, The Cost of Living (via psych-facts)

True laziness is being excited when plans get canceled.
There is so much pain suppressed inside me, that when it’s let out i’m almost choked. Like the hand of a clock the same, slow, constant and unbearable thought repeats in my head. How could we experience the same connection, moments and memories; with only one of us to be so deeply in love and the other cut the strings and walk away without any bruises. Why wasn’t i good enough, why aren’t i good enough and how can i be?
My cell phone is my: watch, camera, flashlight, calculator, my notebook, my social life and so much more.
