I read all the health pamphlets as a child.

They did NOT say, “By the way, some areolas have little bumps on them. And some get pimple-ish things around the edges. Or on the nipples. These are not the lumps we are talking about, and that is not the discharge we are talking about.”

I spent years worrying about whether I had breast cancer. (I got exams, every year or two, and those were always fine and I stopped worrying. Mostly. But then a new tiny bump would show up on the edges and I would wonder IS THIS IT? …but not ask to see a doctor because 14-year-old girls worry about everything, all the time, and six months ago the doctor poked at my breasts and didn’t say anything alarming, so this is… probably fine? Like last time?)

I had a slightly more present and caring doctor tell me what I need to be looking for specifically are lumps that feel like peas or grains of rice.

That distinction cleared so much up for me, like, breast tissue is all lumps and bumps normally (which is what mamories feel like to me). What the hell do they mean by lumps????

Legolas’s pupil size isn’t the problem here, though. 5 leagues is 17.262 miles. The curvature of the Earth means that for a person of average height, the visual horizon is less than three miles away. Even if your vision is telescopic and the atmosphere is perfectly clear, you can’t see around the planet. If they were standing on a hill, it would have to be at LEAST 198 feet above sea level in order to see the horizon at 17.2 miles away, with nothing tall in between. Which, knowing Rohan, isn’t impossible.

In their freshman year, they had been quite close since Martha was quick to make friends with the girl from out of state. They soon only spoke on occasion and when Martha was around, as Shelby withdrew herself from their lunch table and began having lunch with her new boyfriend: Andrew along with his friends. What made the bond completely snap in half was when Toni got her first girlfriend, Regan at the start of sophomore year. After Toni & Regan broke up, Toni became angrier than ever and didn’t care if she hurt the feelings of the ‘friendly neighbourhood’ Christian girl. So when they’re forced to work together for a school project, they are forced to put aside their differences, causing a fresh new dynamic between the two to occur, changing their life’s for good.

Falling Feels Like Flying by dwoht (NR) 13/13 And then Toni has an idea. It’s a terrible idea. It’s a horrible, no-good, potentially life-ruining, mess of a plan. It’s not even a plan, it’s just an impulsive thought. So, of course, she says it immediately. “I could be your girlfriend,” she says. Shelby stares at her, like she’s so shocked she forgets that she’s freaking out. Or, Shelby runs a YouTube channel, which Toni has been hate watching for years. On mere coincidence, they’re assigned to be college roommates, and of course, end up fake-dating.
