So I just wanted to touch base with everyone. Because I disappear. A lot. I'll just tell you where I've been. This isn't one of those cliche posts of the simple answer of 'life getting in the way' -- Which, while is true... I've been trying to pursue Vtubing. I discovered it back in 2019, but haven't taken it seriously until 2023, where my life basically decided to press the reset button, but never in a negative way. Like anything, I had to grow, learn, and get comfortable. This character, Clair, is my vtuber persona AND an oc. One that I've favored a lot these past few years. Now, where am I going with this?

Well, as I've said. I've been growing. Not just with the followers, and all the things that come with content creation - as I've said, in 2023 I've had to rebuild my own life from the ground up, redefine the passions and reconnect with hobbies I put down. I figured, however, why stop there? I've made my own models for, not just clair, but other oc's that are on this very platform. I figured, why not use my talent and do something more with it? So I went to Ko-fi! I've made a shop where I have made adoptable models for sale! You can do anything with them, vtubing, send it as a gift to another friend, build a whole new oc of your own or some oc that you may have already have, ect. Only a handful have seen me." A mask has been removed from the mysterious figure's face, a moot point, though the log picks her features up well. For now... "My name is Jenova. My dedication, and determination has not ceased. I do believe it's time for... another reunion." And dead glassy eyes wandered away from the camera, such an expression. Sadness, glints in that gaze. Something behind her begins to form, almost like a portal, or mysterious door. "I promise you, I won't be gone long. Life in time, is a paradox. To maintain it, I must do my duty in correcting wrongs. That includes with myself." Many hands begin to reach out, looking ghostly, a hollowed tune of whispers almost pulling the audio in, the recording becoming static and jumpy. Jenova slowly reaches to turn off the recording, but before it errors -- "Remember my eyes. My Voice. My Will."

He had been a child without a mother for so very long that to have what he sought drove him into action. Her words were the very permission he needed to use the inhuman strength that he had been given to push against tempered glass. It cracks underneath the pressure, letting liquid flow between his gloved fingers until it shatters, sending shards of glass out past him. He did not care that it cut into his gloves, did not care for the sting that followed, only that he was now able to take hold of his mother's hands in his own. The water empties around them until it pools underneath his boots.

He holds her hands tightly. Sephiroth takes a breath, one he had been holding for too long into aching lungs that craved for it. If this were a dream, may he cut down whoever dared wake him.

"I am here." He whispers it in awe, with serpentine irises thinning. His gaze never leaves the form of his dearest mother. Oh, how he had dreamt of this day. True, it did not play out exactly as his dreams had, but still... the happiness he felt in his veins as they sang a tune only he could hear was real.

𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐀𝐍 𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐓. But they will defy it. The very destiny that was written to smite them and their existence in even touching. Breathing. Together they will be. Mother and son, at last. The glass pooled and spayed from cracks until it shattered, palms at the ready to be caught. She came with it, the glass and thickened water, a mechanism blinding her, lifting up and off her head, revealing a longing gaze, the rest of her face looking shocked, actually being able to see him for the first time though the eyes of a physical body. Instantly, an overwhelming sense made water welp in her eyes. Their hands clamped together. Almost unbelievable... Such divine skin was glistening in the dim light. Slightly taller form met his eyes, a moment feeling timeless. Her tears, they fell after blinking. Mere fleeting moments made her breath catch, letting out a gasp. Palms left his, but arms brought him in. She embraced Sephiroth tightly.

Dearest mother. He sees her within the confines of the tank, and his blood sings with the fact that their reunion has finally happened. To think that she was there... in front of his bright green hues, serpentine irises dilate in their exhilaration. She speaks his name, and if he were not a man so built against emotion, the silverette would shed tears. Instead, he reaches out. Gloved hands against the tempered glass. A barrier that keeps him away from her...the heat of anger and impatience rises from under his skin.

"Mother..."

He speaks it in reverence.

𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐒 Beauty breathed again and could feel him ever so closer. Substance that was as water had her body slightly afloat, head just above it. Body preserved; Jenova motioned forward, having palms placed against her side, up against his... 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙊𝙁 𝙎𝙄𝙇𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝙒𝘼𝙎 𝙁𝙄𝙇𝙇𝙀𝘿 𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙃 𝙂𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙀 only to be filled with longing, hinting rage in her voice, a rising crescendo -- nothing should be holding her away from them again. Form began to jolt and squirm in a fit. It isn't fair. It isn't fair... She'll make it fair. Long fingers curled, fists knocking against the glass, what seemed light was able to crack the thickness.

Genesis barely even registers the way she moves closer to him until his skin contacts her, the electric crackle at once startling and soothing. He squeezes her arm lightly, lifting that slightly glassy mako blue gaze to meet hers.

"You are unhurt?"

His gaze quickly scans his mistress' form, though he almost seems to collapse against her. He's been deprived of her grace for too long, to the flood of relief at seeing her once more overwhelms his every sense.

"... I only wish I could have accompanied you."

𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐃 lips tried not to lie, though it was difficult what to say and not to say. Jenova could trust, but the cosmos of time were... tricky. Head shook, dismissing that she could be harmed by simple travel, skin dusting off cosmic energy, evaporating in the air. To ease his mind further, she did as Genesis taught her, what seemed like so long ago. 𝘼 𝙆𝙄𝙎𝙎 ; 𝙏𝙊 𝙏𝘼𝙈𝙀 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙔 To any illusion that she was not here, to not let fear compel Genesis of any worry on her behalf.
