Easy soap recipe for all over:

3/4 cup of (non distilled and non diluted RAW) honey

3/4 cup of Castile soap

1 tbsp vegetable glycerin

1 tbsp olive oil

20 drops essential oil of your choice

Mix together the Castile and vegetable glycerin then mix in the honey and oil, then add your essential oils and mix some more. Once finished, pour into a cute container of your choosing!

How To Remove Stains From Organic Cotton Period-Pads

Yup. I’m doing it.

After having had gross organic cotton pads for a few months I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. How do I remove these unsightly stains from my organic cotton pads?

Here’s how:

First, after a long day rinse the pad with cold water and brush off any blood and squeeze out as much as you can.

Then, get a mild detergent (I use Castile soap but whatever you want works too) and add a drop or two and suds it up. Make sure it’s super sudsy. Then, rub the stained parts of the pad together. What I mean by this is: fold it in half somewhat and use the pad to scrub the pad - get it? Rinse and repeat until the soap is clear and you can’t scrub any more.

Then, rinse rinse rinse.

Still have set in stains? Use hydrogen peroxide (that’s right). Pour some on the stained bits and let sit for a few minutes. Then rinse and repeat. IT WILL NOT REMOVE THE STAIN INSTANTLY. Do this process one or two times then let it sit overnight (once rinsed of course) and it’ll dry like new. I was shocked.

Note: I hand wash pads and underwear. That’s me. If you machine wash then try that and then the peroxide trick. I, however, find handwashing washes it more thoroughly than a machine. I also hang dry them on my towel rack.
