This was many years ago. I was a teenager and had a friend who told me that she had a teacher in her former school who texted her and they had like a secret relationship. He told her something along the lines of this āā. He kept texting her even after she moved to another school (the reason for moving had nothing to do with him).
My stupid moronic ass legit thought it was sweet and cute that a teacher would be *in love* with my friend, my teenage friend who at that time was 15 years old. I was so stupid.
But then I was young (Iām not ancient, Iām just in my twenties) and wasnāt equipped or knowledgeable to deal with that. Back then, teenagers werenāt as exposed to social issues as you guys are now (even now the world still sucks but thatās another story for another day).
Anyway, that was yeaaars ago, but honestly, this needs to be drilled into teenagers brains all over the world. If a guy/lady whoās obviously older than you tells you that youāre mature for your age, or is initiating being in a relationship with you, get the hell out of there. Run. Tell your parents. Tell his/her boss. Tell someone older. Ask for their advice if you canāt see anything wrong with it.
Itās wrong. It. Is. Wrong. They are a predator. They should know better but theyāre not acting like one.
