The Facade of Al Sah-him

So Marc posted this earlier tonight and it sent my thoughts into overdrive:

Now I’m not usually one to post a lot of spec as it relates to overall plot. Usually if I’m speculating about anything, it’s the direction I think the characters are moving in. But tonight’s episode had me thinking a lot about what might be happening and how all of the puzzle pieces are finally coming together.

I know that a lot of people are speculating that the surprise thing is related to the possibility of a bride switch. I’ll be completely honest and upfront about this, I am NOT on the Olicity wedding train. That’s a conversation for a different day, but it needs to be said to give context for what I’m going to lay out here. I think that something MUCH bigger is going to be revealed as the surprise during that episode or quite possibly there will be a bunch of surprises that pop up in 3x22. Sure one of them could definitely be the bride switch, but here’s my thoughts on what could also be the surprise.

The only way this season ends in Porsches and sunsets is if Al Sah-him returns to Oliver Queen. We don’t have THAT much time left to send him on a mission to regaining his humanity … unless he’s maintained it all along.
