Pairing : HAN JISUNG X READER (Fluff, Late Night Snack, Soft Moments, Light Romance) Established Relationship
Summary : A quiet night out turns into snacks, laughter, and a little escape from the dorm
The dorm was loud again, The guys had decided it was “movie night,” which usually meant everyone shouting over each other about which movie to pick, and then half of them getting distracted halfway through. You were curled up on the couch beside Han, legs draped over his lap while he absentmindedly tapped his fingers against your thigh in rhythm with whatever song was still stuck in his head
“You’re not even watching” you teased, glancing at him as the opening credits rolled
“I am watching” he argued, eyes still on the TV but with that little smirk that gave him away “I’m just also… composing a hit song in my head at the same time, multi talented boyfriend, remember?”
You snorted “Right, because thinking about chicken nuggets and rhyming them with love counts as songwriting”
He turned to you with mock offense “Excuse me first of all, chicken nuggets are a metaphor, Second of all, you’re not allowed to roast me in front of the members, that’s a private activity”
Across the room, Felix yelled “Too late, we’re all listening!” which only made Han grab a throw pillow and chuck it in his direction
Eventually, you gave up trying to pay attention to the movie, Han noticed, leaning closer until his lips brushed the side of your ear “Wanna get out of here?” he whispered, tone carrying that mischievous edge
You narrowed your eyes “And go where?”
“Anywhere, Just us” His hand tightened slightly on your leg “We can grab snacks, walk by the river… or, you know, sit in the car and talk about deep, life changing topics like whether pineapple belongs on pizza”
You pretended to think about it “Hmm… tempting, But I don’t think the world’s ready for that debate”
He rolled his eyes and stood up, holding his hand out for you “C’mon, Before Chan hyung notices we’ve gone and sends a search party”
You let him pull you up, and he quickly grabbed his hoodie from the back of the chair, draping it over your shoulders instead “It’s cold” he said simply, but the way his eyes softened made your chest tighten
Out in the quiet night air, the chaos of the dorm felt far away, you two ended up at a convenience store, buying way too many snacks and arguing over which instant ramen was better, back outside, you sat on the hood of his car, sharing chips while he told you about the song he was working on
“I’m stuck on one line” he admitted, leaning back beside you “It’s supposed to be about someone being your safe place, but I don’t wanna make it cheesy”
You popped a chip into your mouth and smirked “You? Not wanting to be cheesy? That’s new”
He turned toward you, his expression softening “You’re my safe place, you know”
You blinked at him, caught off guard “That’s… actually sweet, Hannie”
He smiled, but then his hand found yours, fingers intertwining as he leaned closer “Yeah, but if you tell the guys I was being romantic, I’ll deny everything”
You laughed, but the sound faded when he kissed you slow, warm, and with just enough lingering pressure to make your heart race, Pulling back, he rested his forehead against yours “Let’s stay out a little longer” he murmured “I’m not ready to share you yet”
After finishing most of the chips, Han hopped off the hood of the car and held his hand out to you, You slid off and let him pull you close, the crinkle of empty snack wrappers left behind in the front seat as you started walking toward the brighter part of the city
“Where are we going now?” you asked, matching your steps with his
“Just walking” he said with a shrug “Maybe down by the river, maybe through the shops, depends on where my amazing girlfriend feels like dragging me”
You smirked “Pretty sure you’re the one who does the dragging”
“Only because you get distracted every two seconds” he teased, nodding toward a shop window you had slowed down to look at “See? Case in point”
The glow from the shop lights spilled onto the sidewalk, and you stopped for a moment, admiring a display of cute keychains. Han stepped in behind you, looping his arms loosely around your waist as he leaned to see what you were looking at
“I was just looking” you said, though your eyes lingered on a little fox keychain longer than you meant to
Han noticed, He slipped inside the shop without a word, and less than a minute later came back out holding the keychain in his hand, he pressed it into your palm with a grin “Now it’s yours”
You shook your head but couldn’t stop smiling “You’re ridiculous”
“And yet, you love me” he said, clearly pleased with himself
You kept walking, the streets buzzing with weekend life. The smell of food carts drifted by, making you glance toward one selling skewers, Han caught your look instantly
“Hungry again?” he asked, raising an eyebrow
“You started this with the snacks” you reminded him “Don’t act surprised”
He laughed and guided you over, ordering two skewers before handing you one. The warmth of the food felt nice in the cool night air, and the way Han kept looking at you between bites made your chest feel warm too
As you walked toward the river afterward, Han glanced at you with that mischievous spark in his eyes “You know, the ramen we bought earlier is still in the car, I’m starting to think we should boil it somewhere and have a proper midnight dinner”
You grinned “What, on the hood of the car?”
“Could be romantic” he said with a shrug “You, me, instant noodles under the stars, sounds like a music video waiting to happen”
You laughed “Or like the beginning of a weird cooking disaster”
Han bumped his shoulder lightly against yours “Still worth it”
The reflections of the city lights shimmered across the water as you reached the railing. Han leaned on it with one arm while his other hand found yours
“You know” he said softly “this is my favorite part of the night”
You tilted your head “The river?”
He shook his head “Being out here with you, no noise, no rushing…. just us”
You felt your chest tighten at the sincerity in his voice “You’re getting soft on me, Hannie”
He smirked “Don’t get used to it, I have a reputation to maintain”
Still, he didn’t let go of your hand, and after a quiet moment, he leaned in to kiss you slow, warm, and unhurried, when he pulled back, his forehead rested against yours
“Let’s stay out a little longer” you said with a small smile “Then let’s go make that ramen”
Han’s eyes lit up immediately, and he practically tugged you back toward the car. The ride was short, and soon you were in a tiny corner store that had a microwave station tucked away in the back. Han set the ramen cups down, peeling back the lids with exaggerated care like he was handling gourmet food
“Chef Han at your service” he announced as he poured in the hot water from the dispenser
You shook your head “You’re way too into this”
“I’m setting the mood” he said, taking your hoodie strings and gently tugging you closer while they waited for the noodles to soften “Ramen date, late night, city lights, perfect girlfriend ten out of ten experience”
When the noodles were ready, you each took a cup outside and sat on a low wall near the parking lot, Steam curled up into the cool night air as you took the first bite. Han watched your reaction like he was waiting for a review
“It’s ramen” you said, trying not to smile “It’s good because it’s ramen”
“Correction” he said, pointing his chopsticks at you “It’s good because we’re eating it together”
You rolled your eyes but leaned against his shoulder as you both ate, the hum of the city around you, and his warmth right beside you
By the time you both finished, the street had grown quieter. Han tossed the empty cups in the trash and stretched his arms above his head with an exaggerated groan
“That was the perfect midnight dinner” he said, his voice full of contentment
“You mean perfect midnight snack” you corrected
“Dinner” he insisted “We put our hearts into that”
You laughed, shaking your head as he slipped his hand into yours again. The walk back to the car was slow, neither of you in a rush to leave the quiet
Once you were inside, Han started the engine but didn’t drive right away, Instead, he leaned back in his seat, looking at you for a moment with that small smile that always made your chest tighten
“What?” you asked, tilting your head
“Nothing, Just… I really like nights like this” he said “When it’s just us and we can do whatever we want”
Your lips curved into a smile “Me too”
The drive back to the dorm was easy, the city lights fading into quieter streets. Han kept one hand on the wheel and the other resting on your thigh, his thumb brushing lightly over your jeans every so often, It was such a small thing, but it made you feel warm all over
When he pulled into the parking area, he turned the engine off and looked at you with a mock serious expression “Okay, once we walk inside, we have to be prepared for interrogation”
You grinned “From the guys?”
“Obviously, They’re going to ask where we went, what we did, and why we didn’t invite them” he said “And we both know if I tell them about the ramen, they’ll try to make me share next time”
“So what’s the plan?” you asked
He smirked “We lie, We say we just went for a boring drive, nothing worth mentioning”
You laughed “That’s terrible”
“It’s survival” he replied, getting out of the car and coming around to open your door. You rolled your eyes but accepted his hand as you stepped out
Inside the dorm, the warmth and noise hit instantly, A few of the guys were still awake, lounging in the living room. Changbin spotted you first and called out
“Where’d you two disappear to?”
Han answered smoothly “Nowhere exciting, Just needed some fresh air”
You bit back a smile as you toed off your shoes, Han caught your eye for a split second and gave you the tiniest wink before pulling you down the hall toward his room, away from the noise, the two of you slipped inside, shutting the door behind you. The soft hum of the city outside faded completely, leaving only the quiet of your little bubble
Han flopped onto the bed, reaching out to pull you down beside him. His voice was already softer now “See? Back to the real world”
You smiled, tucking yourself against him “I like our world better”
His arm tightened around you “Me too”
