Sorry for the patchy activity here (again, cough cough)! I was using my spring break to be lazy as you like, and now university is back on.

Here's another non-Ida OC doodle to fill the gap. This is my character Meri when he was small. That's his grandpa's jacket.

I've been thinking about opening commissions over the summer, depending on circumstances. I'm not sure how many people read the notes that go with posts, but if you'd be interested, let me know, and I'll keep it in mind.

Hi I’m back after almost a month :D

Honestly? I don’t even remember my creative process for this, I think I just found it funny to see these kittens dressed like people usually dress in my country. It was also good coloring practice. I’m still trying to figure out how to paint without losing the lineart details....

which I completely forgot about when drawing Serafine :D I basically just sketched and started painting hhehehe

Millicent has spent the majority of her life with a deep rooted feeling of sadness and longing inside her. A hole she could never fill carved out by a troubled childhood. At a certain point, she convinced herself that everything would be better once she achieved her dream of fame. That that’s when everything would fall in place and she would feel happy and fulfilled. So she sacrificed everything to make it happen and finally began to rise in fame. Only to find out the feeling she’d so desperately been trying to fill with external validation was still there: gaping and unchanged. It wasn’t the answer she was seeking all those years. (Really, what she needed was to heal herself but it would take a very, very long time for her to figure this out and accept it).

New Year, new bio. This one being @jeriandcompany's Lackadaisy OC.

Just by the design alone, she seems like someone I could trust and confide in for hours. So here's the bio.

After years of writing, I developed this sense of rhythm with sentences. Said sense seems to be fond of short sentences for declarations or punchlines. Given how Tracy's bios tend to have long, looping ones, I mourned having to give it up to match them. I was quite relieved when I checked the bios and saw Lacy's "She's just not sure why" and Rocky's many clipped sentences...

Yeah, now you got an idea of what happens inside my head.

Forgive me for yet another OC post to fill the big gap between now and the last time I posted anything about Ida...

(Yes, that's the aro flag color scheme on his vest! He doesn't know what it means, but that's dramatic irony for you.)

I'm finally on break from uni! (Still got heaps of work to do but I'm taking it easy for a bit.) I'll be getting to my request backlog shortly.

I'd like to do more Ida stuff while I have time. Not sure what to make yet. I think I need to sit down and iron out her plotline, or at the very least write it down heheh. I do have some grand ideas. I've really been enjoying trying to make her match the tone of the other characters in the story. Which is, for the most part, Supremely Doomed™.

tiny little warning for the lackaoc fandom

I got a DM from posts-jd this afternoon with a scam message I've seen floating around. As far as I know, up till now they've been a genuine member of the Lackadaisy community, so I'm a little worried they've had their account taken over. Please be careful with what you reply to and stay vigilant ^^ (If you don't already know about it, the scam goes something like "I'm very sorry but I accidentally reported your account, please help me convince Tumblr staff I made a mistake." It's not true and it's nothing to worry about, so just ignore it, and definitely don't click on any links, add any discord accounts, or input your details anywhere.)
