I-I didn't wanna miss th-the party.
I-I am. A-Actually. I-I felt like it was time to move on a-and come next fall, I-I start working i-in S-St. Mungo’s.
Y-You’re leaving too?
That's great, I mean, working in the hospital wing is probably fun, but nothing compared the level of disaster things that you probably see at St. Mungo's. I'm sure they'll appreciate your talent there.
And yeah. It's an appropriate time to leave. I was already gone anyway, so.

Biography
After leaving Hogwarts Jessica accepted a job at a local muggle tavern, working as a waitress while living in the employee’s lodging upstairs. She loved the simplicity of it, the lack of problems the locals and the rare tourists gave her: a far cry from the life she had lived at Hogwarts, constantly wrestling with teenagers who just wanted to cause trouble. She lived this way for about six months, only using magic in the privacy of her room and spending her earnings to become more accustomed to muggle technology and literature. No one seemed to question her presence or her past, and she enjoyed living from day to day, unconnected to every part of her past. She thought about reaching out to the people closest to her heart, including her family members and Dex, but the thought of giving up her stress free, up-in-the-air existence kept her from getting in touch with them again.
About a few months after her 27th birthday, the tavern buzzed with news: the heir of a recently deceased multi-billionaire was in town, and he planned on staying at the tavern for a few days. Austin McCoy called himself entrepreneur, but mostly he traveled around the world, enjoying all the pleasures of life: the good and the bad. While staying at the tavern he discovered an immense interest in the care-free Jessica, and after a few days of courting, seduced the brunette. It wasn’t long before he was privy to her partying ways; her weakness and affinity for alcohol, which she had been able to keep at bay since her arrival in Russia. With the egging on from the entrepreneur she was soon hooked on alcohol again, and when Austin suggested they go to Amsterdam, to experience the party culture there, Jess agreed in a heartbeat.
It was a destructive time for the 27 year old. At Austin’s prompting she began to drink more heavily on a daily basis, her magic self forgotten under piles of empty bottles and dirty mattresses. With no one who truly cared about her keeping her accountable, the studious, book-loving Jessica gave away to the dangerous part of herself. Austin’s inheritance kept her from ever needing a job, so her entire life became one big party: one night out after the other. Jess no longer knew who she was; she didn't remember her family, her friends, her wants...
One day she rolled out of bed and realized Austin wasn’t there. He’d abandoned her in a city she did not recognize, with nothing but an empty apartment and a few scraps of her belongings. Lost and scared, she tried to quit alcohol cold turkey multiple times, which did not last very long each time. She tried to make ends meet with entry level, dead end jobs, but constantly lost them, as her alcoholism always got the better of her and prevented her from reaching any sort of goals. She met 'friends' at bars, but they only cared for her as long as she could pay for her drinks and continue in her destructive ways.
This continued on for about four years. Jess had all about given up hope about her future. She did not want to contact her family or any of her close friends in the wizarding world, lest she be judged for her mistakes. As long as she could afford to look 'good', and either continue to buy her own drink or have drinks bought for her, she considered her day 'satisfactory'. And she would have gone on like this forever... If it wasn't for Tanya, a simple Kindergarten teacher from the states.
Tanya gradually brought Jess back toward the light, helping her through all of the ups and downs of recovery with love and patience. A few years later they were married, the old, studious Jessica Gelep back for good. After she graduated from a technical institute, she put her organizational skills to work and became the secretary for the school system Tanya worked at.Â
Jessica never bought a new wand or returned to the wizarding world, opting to live life out the muggle way with her wife.
Leaving
It was supposed to be just one semester of sabbatical. A sabbatical McGonagall had forced upon her when it was found that the mousy-haired librarian hadn't left the library for anything, not even to eat or sleep, in over six months. The headmistress assumed it was because the Jessica was entirely too focused on work; a possible assumption, as the library had never looked better or more complete under her care since its inception at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The sabbatical was to be taken as a gift: a vacation, where Jessica would be able to read and collect books in her own time, for her own pleasure. In reality, however, the librarian had unconsciously trapped herself in a prison, the location in which her life had taken a life altering course: the very same place Randall McQueen had become a part of her life.
Begrudgingly Jessica packed her bags and took off for the northern most tip of Russia, the farthest and coldest place she could think of with a written history. The coldness would match the frozen heart inside of me, she thought, not to mention the slimness of the chance that she would ever see anyone she desperately did not and did want to see. Plus, the vodka. And it was there, in a location most void of her past, she finally tasted the fresh breath of freedom she had desperately wanted since the age of fifteen.Â
The very next day she owled Headmistress McGonagall and resigned from her position as the Head Librarian at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, thanking her former professor for finally releasing her from her prison.
so erm. hello.

The main question in life is
Yes, yes, as fun as it was having a robot unicorn  above my ass it just had to go. Thought about what, getting another tat?
I bet St. Clair would have loved it.
And yeah. Like, what it's going to be, why you want it, the whole bit.
`
I’ll try not to trip and cause a book avalanche on my way out.
I’m not jumpy. How do you know this isn’t me normally? You pay very close attention to people. It’s unnerving. I will try to remember that next time, sorry.
Don't- even joke about that, Mr. Mitrano.
I pay attention to people as long as they're in my library. It helps weed out the potential threats to my books to the ones that are truly dedicated to expanding their knowledge.
The main question in life is
Hey, now this one has meaning. And can we not talk about the tramp stamp? That was a bad, drunken decision that frankly, you should have stopped me from making in the first place even though I got it removed eventually.
Psh, like I wasn't even more plastered than you were.
But I did enjoy having matching tattoos with you for awhile.Â
Anyway, so you've thought about it?
OMG BUT GUYS DID YOU SEE MATT SMITH'S HAIR CUT I KNOW IT IS FOR A MOVIE BUT I AM JUST SO SAD
