I know these aren’t perfect but I am still so proud I finally did it. I’ve been wanting to make these for the longest time but I was scared and I lack some resources. Today is the day I finally pushed myself to just do it (despite the lack of resources. Oh well, just gotta improvise then) but TBVH It was really hard that I almost gave up. Some were overbaked, cracked and ugly or didn’t rise well but half of them were pretty okay and the most important thing is they taste good. Well not good good but not bad, I mean there’s always room for improvement huh. Okay whatever. Bottomline is I’m happy I did it 💗

Yes I have friends, quite a lot actually, but no one would really care. I’ve got that one friend I thought I could actually understand and vice versa. I thought we are connected but you know life happens and it turned out she doesn’t really trusts me to the level I thought we were supposed to. We are all good but I know she wouldn’t mind me either just like how my other friends are. I guess all I have is myself but I lost it too.

Beauty Blog: Quarterly Product Empties

Hello everyone!

I just want to share my beauty (more of k-beauty) product empties for the past few months or year. Since I don’t really emptied product quickly and knowing me, the lazy blogger, I’m thinking I would just do it quarterly and not as often as monthly like most people do. That way it would be more feasible for me to actually do this. I would try to review or give some insights about the products I’d be sharing. For reference I have a combination-oily and acne prone skin, well at the very least that’s what I believe I am. Also disclaimer, I am in no way an expert but rest assured I will only be sharing my honest opinion and will based it on what I have experienced. And so without further ado, Let’s start this.

Cleansing products

Etude house real art moisture cleansing oil- i got it only in sample size for free yet it lasted me for so long. well I tried to use it little by little since i was so amazed by how it removed my makeup after turning into a milk like substance. it was nice but it kinda hurt my eyes whenever i use it to remove my eye makeup.

Etude house Wonder Pore Deep Foaming Cleanser - I really like this cleanser, it has a cooling sensation whenever I used them. It is so nice to use every morning, it felt like it has woken up my skin. and it does it job, it really cleanse.

Cosrx One step pimple clear pad- honestly, I’ve been just hyped up about this product by one of my favorite Youtuber. I was so happy to know that this has become available in our local watsons. I really think it is nice and it does help with controlling my pimples and for the record I am in my 2nd tub. It has 70 pads but what I do is cut them in half so it would be 140. haha

Treatment

Mizon all in one repair night cream- i don’t really know what does this do but i believe it is for scarring too. it is for all over the face but since i lost my eye cream I used this as one instead. and it really is hydrating.

Cosrx acne pimple patch- this is legit one of my fave. it really help suck out the dirty gunk out of my pores. plus i think it is more affordable than other that can be found in drugstore.

It’s skin VC effector- I super like this product and I don’t know if it’s true but i feel like my face becomes brighter whenever i used this. at days that i skip using this i notice a difference but i dont know if it’s just me. haha.I actually  bought a bigger bottle of this from our last trip to korea.

Cosrx centella blemish cream- one of my fave youtubers rave so much about this that it got me thinking that it really works. but idid not see immediate results tho I belive it really help to lessen the scarring of my pimples.

Sunscreen and Makeups

The face shop concealer - I had this as a free product too. It’s a little too light for my complexion but it is okay in brightening my under eye and sometimes i use it as to highlighter too. but to be honest, i feel like my under eyes turn cakey as it stays by the day.

Innisfree no sebum powder - I like this product and will definitely repurchase. I like the menthol/minty scent and that it is so fine. It could act as an emergency dry shampoo too.

Cosrx Aloe soothing sun cream- I’d say this is by far my favorite suncream. the smell is heavenly and it gives a light feeling and feels hydrating at the same time. no white cast or anything. Tho the downside is... it is too hard to get my hands on it. 

Biore watery essence- at first i didn’t like the scent of it but as time goes by  realized it is not bad at all. I like the texture of it and since I cannot but cosrx suncream I opt for this suncream again.

the body shop body butter- this smells so amazing and hydrates so well. i stole it from my mom haha

tony moly tomatox- this actually isn’t an empty but it has already expired so i included it anyway. it was nice and it brightens my skin but because it has a lot of products inside and i was a bit lazy to use it.

Tony Moly egg pore- this too isn’t an empty and like tomatox it has expired. it was supposed to help in removig black heads but I didn’t notice any big changes maybe I didn’t used them regularly and properly. I just like to keep them because of their cute packaging.

Daily Blog: 20+2 kpop idol group - boys edition (D-20)

Hello everyone! If you’re my friend, you’ll probably know I am a (BIG) fan of Kpop, so today I’ll be sharing to you my top 20 k-idols (boy group edition) I’ve been loving this year. There are a lot more groups that i really like but these are the ones that has a bigger impact or appeal to me this year. Let’s start.

LEGENDS

okay these are the groups debuted long ago yet they still manage to get me every time. in short they are my long time faves.

Super Junior - of course always my no.1! they were the ones that get me in to the kpop world. haha. Last man standing!

VIXX - been a fan since they were close with btob then. btob tv introduced me to vixx tv. and i fell in love personality wise. haha. don’t get me wrong i like their songs too. love that they’ve been recognized well.

Boys24- okay there are 28 members actually. but this ain’t the final group yet they are only promoting for a year and only 6-7 member will really debut as a permanent group. they haven’t officially debuted yet but i love them. haha

Pentagon and SF9- okay these two groups just debuted i think just a month ago so and i still do not know them individually but their debut songs are good. the competition is healthy between them haha.

The Kings

they are the ones that are really reigning into my heart right now. haha I’m actually obsess it’s not funny anymore. haha joke! these groups bring happiness into my life but i’m telling you it is so hard to be a multifan. haha

EXO (2012)

in their teaser era, I really told myself that I wont stan this group and i wont fall for sm babies again but as soon as their debut came i can’t help it but be a fan. haha i’m such a loser, i can’t resist this group. they have a fun-ny fancy concept and all. I’m just, I don’t know if it is sm I know I will stan it because they always have a very good and talented artists. tho sometimes i hate the actual company. so many issues. ugh. well Exo really is a big shot to me. esp this year. I’ve been so hype with them at the first quarter of the year since they had a concert here w/c of course i attended. haha. this is getting too long I must stop haha.

woah! ARMY ARMY ARMY! bangtanbomb! whatever I am so in love with them. I’m not really a big fan when they debuted but i do really love their song and concept enough to made me look into them a little deeper and get to know each of them. But recently I’ve been a crazy fan who always binge watch their shows and performances and since they had a concert here it add up a fuel to fire i am feeling for them. so now they are one of my kings and i’m telling you, once you jimIN you can never jimOUT. hahaha.

Got7 (2014)

IGot7 here! haha. I love this group since debut but it is just now that I really got so hyped about them. been a hardcore fan recently and i am crazily in love. talent or personality wise, they worth all my fangirling feels. at first I didn’t expect they would level to my adoration and love for exo and bts since I was just a lowkey fan ever since. I don’t know or I think maybe because of their v app. can’t stop watching them there. haha. 

(bias- what bias again? IGOT7 so why choose a bias? haha but seriously Jinyoung is my boyfriend for reals. I have this deep adoration to his works and to him in general)

Daily Blog: Birthday Month (D-21)

Hello everyone, it’s November and it’s chilly (like my cold heart.lol) and guess what? it’s my birthday month! HAHA.

So long since my last post. Now I am challenging my self to do a daily blog before my birthday. I’m turning 22 this year hence I decided to do a 22 daily blogs until my birthday. I’m planning to do some random topics or just a daily life update. I’m actually quite worried that I may not keep it up to what I have planned since Finals week is coming and I should put a lot of time to study. It is really toxic and I don’t really want to go to school anymore but what can I do? In the society I am living today school degree is important (not the actual education) and honestly I am really having a hard time. I hope this thing would help me ease my worries and help me focus on what’s good in my 22 years of existence. I hope that I could find my rock and grip into it to continue. I hope that one day I will be reading back this blog and have a good smile on my face reminiscing how wonderful life is. And of course I’m hoping that I could keep up with this challenge. haha.

Travel: South Korea Pt.3 (Ski,Everland,Namsan)

안녕 여러분!

Hello everyone!

I cannot believe I forgot to post this. What have I been doing? haha.

well this is supposed to be my last blog from our SOKOR trip last year. It’s almost that time of the year again and I really wanna go back. Look how happy we were striking a pose in the corner of this red walls hahaha. we’re a crazy bunch of a kid. 

We experienced skiing and it was hard but super fun. actually the hard part is climbing up it took us a while to go up so we could slide down. haha. the snow isn’t real they were artificially made but still it is so amusing to feel it and to see it. this part is so much fun even tho I look so jeje with my skiing gear. haha.

we really had such a great time, now i really miss it. huhu. what a good time :)

We also went to the kimchi making class. it was quite short but still a good experience because i love kimchi. hihi. 

of course we need to try wearing hanbok the korean traditional clothes. It has been always my dream. dae jang geum feels hahaha. I’m a fan okay. hihihi. We’re the royal Family in our own world haha. the people there are actually quite amused by how big our family is. we’re a family of 8. lolololol.

and oh well! wearing royal clothes is not enough of course we have to visit the palace. we’re supposed to go to gyeongbeokgung which is the biggest palace but it was close on the day of our scheduled visit so we opt for changdeokgung and it’s a pretty one as well. feels like i’m in a historical drama haha. next time I’ll go there wearing a hanbok. hahahahaha

I could still clearly remember this moment where Me and my brother along with my dad queue for about an hour just to ride this extreme roller coaster. T-express is one of the steepest drop in the world and I am crazy about it. I’m quite an adrenaline junkie that I really loved this ride. after a very long line in the coldness of the winter, this ride is worth it. I would ride it again if possible. haha.  

Everland is such a beauty I wish we had more time.

on the last day, we visited the famous N Seoul Tower. most of my old school korean dramas took a shot in here and so it was a dream come true to finally lock a lovelock here (of course it is for love for my family. haha. can’t wait to bring my one true love.joke!) we did not ride a cable car and just climb up through walking it was so exhausting (freezing) but it’s all worth it. the view was amazing. haha. if you’re a fan of RM Running Man, you’ll know we are too. hahaahahah. I love my pameli 

before leaving korea my siblings and I took the opportunity to take some photos with the people that took care of us the whole time we stay there. Our tour guide, Anna Shin eonnie (wow eonnie. haha!) I miss her “brother sister bali bali” haha. She of course of all people there talked to us so much and guide us the whole time. she gave us some advises and some tips. I love her. hehe

Our driver ahjussi! he’s such a cutiepie. I don’t know if he actually understood us because he never actually talked to us. he’s just always smiling and doing some aegyeos for some photo time haha. But his smiles are bigger when we say “kamsahamnida”! hihi. He took us around Seoul and Gyeonggi-do safely. I’m thankful to him.

oh yes! of course we cannot forget Peter Oppa! (wow Oppa! haha) he also acted as our guide and photographer on our whole trip. Anna told us his story and we were amazed. we don’t know if it is true tho. haha. He really helped us a lot and I can never forget. haha. 

well well well! We’re the generation of Vain people so here we are striking a pose again. haha

this is so much fun. reminiscing the whole trip was a healing time for me. hihi. this is the end of my South Korea Trip Blog that took me so long to finish. haha I’m such a lazeee laze people huahahaha.

Travel: South, Korea pt.2 (petite france, Nami, Ansan)

안녕 여러분!

Hello everyone!

This post is pretty much all about our day 1 in South Korea. To keep it short Let’s just start already!!!! haha.

First Stop - Petite France! this is quite popular for this is featured in some of our favorites dramas and variety show. of course you’ll know if your a fan kdramas and k-variety show but if not meh. let’s move on hahaha. this was featured in Kim Soo Hyun’s drama My Love From Another Star. Omygod guys who doesn’t love kim soohyun? tell me!!! >.< just kidding!  hahahah. you’ll know about it too if you’re a fan of running man. they had an episode here before. It’s so pretty here guys and i love every room. I felt like a child when i was here. and ofcourse I had to take a photo with MR. KIM right there. hahaha  Soohyun oppa is so <3

Moving on, here i am being all touristy getting a photo shot in every corner. hahaha. Btw, France is on of my dream destination and visiting this gives me a glimpse of the experience. i know it’s far from real but whatever. hihi

reminder: it’s quite small but it’s quite exhausting going up and down to check all the corner here haha 

Off we go to NAMI ISLAND! it is from the drama Endless Love: Winter Sonata. it’s one of the classic.I know many filipinos watched it because it was aired on our local channel or if not i know you somewhat heard of it. this place got popular after the drama as well that’s why Winter sonata had a big part in developing this island. they have lots of memorabilia here. Yes we went there during winter but it wasn’t still snowing when we went there. it’s quite frustrating because i want to experience it. nonetheless the island is still super pretty and full of decorations. plus the autmn-ish and winter-ish vibe is amazing.

Just Woah! I miss this scene already. huhu. it’s so pretty here. and i love love that bon fire. that could really save a life. it’s so warm and cozy. haha it may seem not cold because there ain’t a snow but trust me it was so cold specially for a girl who grew up in a tropical country.

we actually had to ride a ferry to get in here because duh it’s an island. but as far as i remember it was an artificial one.

so here we go to ANSAN LIGHT VILLAGE! It was freaking cold here when we arrive. as far as I remember this is where I experience the coldest ever. some of our tour-mates didn’t even bother to go down because it was freaking cold but being the tourist and fanatic I AM, I still proceed on checking the artworks and the beautiful lights. and it was all worth it. see the photos below. you’ll gonna love it too. haha.

my two youngest sister were my company while we were in ansan hence the photos. haha.

Travel: South, Korea

안녕 여러분!

Hello everyone! 

South Korea has been my dream destination since i was in 3rd grade so this trip was a dream come true. I am very lucky indeed. Imagine I’ve been dreaming of this moment since i was about 9-10 y.o. and it did finally happen 11 yrs later. Yeah! you’re right I’m a 21yo girl conquering the world. joke! haha actually this was my first out of the country trip ever. I’ve crossed so many items out of my life bucket list from this w(o)anderful experience. I still can’t believe it and it has been over a month. I think i could never get over it. huhu. anyway, let me share a brief rather long story of our winter ski tour in south, korea.

Let’s start at NAIA.

151226: We made sure to be at the airport much earlier than our flight since we don’t want to have any conflict in checking in. Thank God there were no traffic back then. It was a miracle. LOL. Btw, all my siblings really love korea as much as i do. (kpop/kdrama fans reprezents) haha! we took photos here and there hence the photos below.

If you read my previous posts or if you follow me on instagram you would know how much i adore air shots, clouds and stuff. This was taken at a different time on our 4 hour flight.

We finally arrived to the land of my dreams. I was actually overwhelmed and amaze how big and pretty Incheon Airport is. And as soon as we arrive we immediately met our tour guide, well not immediately but you know. haha. Then we had our first authentic Korean supper. It was so good and I was pleased by the service. I particularly want to share this quote from our tour guide’s assistant, he said “Don’t be Afraid” he meant that we shouldn’t be afraid talking to the locals for most of them were actually friendly so we can go and ask them every time. And that has been my mantra for that trip not only on talking to tha locals but also on trying stuff and exploring the cities. After dinner we went to our first hotel, Nest Hotel in ICN. it was pretty good. Of course there I am taking a selfie with my trip’s room mate, Jennifer, my pretty little sister. another selfie with the cutie baby boy who’s always clinging in our family. haha.

151227: First Morning in Korea and I’m so loving it. I couldn’t believe i could wake up so early just to keep with our itinerary. The breakfast at our hotel was really “mashita” delicious and the view was breath-taking. But I underestimated the coldness of winter, I almost got frozen taking photos outdoor without gloves and without sufficient clothes to keep me warm. But still i am so happy I experienced such thing 

on our first official day, we went to Petite France, Nami Island and Ansan light village. I will share more about it later on my next blog. At the end of the day we are always given a free time to explore on our own. this was one of my favorite part because we just do what we want to do without thinking of time and all. SoKor seems safe day or night so we just go on our way no matter what time it is. Suwon is the first city we explore since our next hotel was located there. Fun fact: Suwon is the capital city of Gyeongi-do. Okay, about Suwon, It was a pretty city full of lights and people and cars and shops and all.

We walk and walk to anywhere without any precise destination until we cannot bear the cold anymore. And so we went into a cafe. we chose caffe bene since it was the nearest and it looks cozy and cute. My sister, Jessa, and I posed like a twins since we have a matching outfit.

The crew i spent all my free nights with. Anyway I’m the eldest here so I really felt the freedom here. hahaha. we are just a buch of kids roaming around here and there. we stayed at SUWON Hotel

151228: The next day we’re supposed to SKI and visit the Everland. I will talk more about it on a separate blog post. But I have to say that it was AMAZING!!! <3 probably my favorite day!! haha.

later that night I was really really exhausted but we still want to enjoy the night since we’re on a different city again and it was SEOUL! So I gotta move those legs and seize the moment. We went street food hunting since last night we regretted not buying from SUWON. I really really wanted to try korean street food ever since. I was a big lover of korea and given the opportunity to try and experience what i only saw on dramas I really had to do this. haha. I would love to try drinking soju at an outdoor tent as well. maybe next time. hahaha. BTW the food were really good, esp the fish cake one. i love them all except for soondae, sorry but soondae is not my style. hahah. ttokbokki and fishcakes are!!! We actually had a hard time buying because the lady “ajjuma” can not speak english so we had trouble. Fortunately there was a young lady who “omygod life saver” speaks english and help us out. she even offered her food so we can try it for free. Saranghae Eonnie! haha. We bought candy and banana milk on our way back to our hotel. I’m sad that the candy broke before i could try cutting the shape out of it BUT I AM REALLY REALLY HAPPY we bought the BANANA MILK. Initially, we bought it since we really like its packaging and we couldn’t find any of those here in our country. and guess what. Someone fell in love. Actually we all love it and end up buying boxes of it to bring home.

151229: It’s SEOUL day on our third day. Good Morning from Shilla Stay Hotel. It’s still all Christmas-y and festive everywhere.

First of all we went to Changdeokgung, one of the palaces in korea and it was amazing and unbelievable. I’ll talk more about it on my next blog posts. Then We went to a Ginseng Museum, where all the good stuffs are. haha. I am so proud that there is a Filipino working there since it was hard to encounter foreign employee there. they are very strict and only wants the best. He’s so cute talking in tagalog and bisaya. BTW everything here is so expensive but they guarantee you  that their products are all effective and all worth it. “nakataya ang pangalan ng South Korea kung hindi epektibo” that’s how they say it.

What’s a trip to Korea if we can not meet our oppas? hahaha. We got so shameless when we saw these pictures and standees. haha! We went here to have our lunch after we shop from duty free.

sorry if the pictures got all messed up. haha. i just collage ‘em without thinking much. LOL. let’s go counter clock wise-  the first photo is when we had dinner at suwon, the next is when we roam around the city of suwon in our free time, then a photo of our family having breakfast on our last day and finally that is when we went shopping at myeongdong but with a very limited time. Myeongdong’s a heaven for me since there are a lot of beauty shops and kpop merch there with lots of promo and i regretted not buying there. i only bought a few and that makes me sad.

First photo, duh! hand selfie.hahah. i was just bewitched by how pretty my amethyst ring is. it has a special meaning to me. 2nd is, okay don’t judge, a passpost selfie and it has a special meaning to me too. 3rd is a group photo of our bus. we were on bus 3 and the people there were awesome. i am sorry for all the trouble we caused and i am thankful for all the understandings you gave us. haha. I miss ‘em all :< 4th kpop heaven in myeongdong. we spent a lot of time looking for this. huhu but it’s all worth it 

this is a show that we almost skip because we want to stay at myeongdong a little bit longer. but boy oh boy, lo and behold, thankfully we didn’t! it was an amazing show and a must see in seoul. we had so much fun watching this. they are very talented and very entertaining. highly recommended!!!!!

1512230: On our last day! we briefly tour a little more around the city. We went to Namsan and that is the highlight of our last day . I will talk more about it on my next blog. since this is getting so long. i really want to cut this short. (fun fact: the first photo below is the blue house of S.Korea, it is well guaerded)

second to the last stop before the airport. we stayed outside to feel the coldness one last time while the elders were having a free consultations from traditional doctors. we took this time to ask for a photo op with the koreans who stayed with us in the past few days- the driver, tour guide and her assistant.

it didn’t snow instead it just rained. it’s sad that we didn’t catch a snow fall in our short time there but i still love it. it was an emotional night hence the weather. it’s another goodbye but i will surely come back because i just can’t get enough.and i have lots of things i wanna do there. hopefully i could get back this spring. please mom and dad!!! let us jeballllllll! haha.
