I just wanted to make an appreciation post for all the amazing people I’ve come to know because of our shared interest in The Band’s Visit. This community is one of the major reasons why I love this show, and I thought today would be as good a time as any to share my appreciation.
@misspoulain for being an amazing partner in all my tbv antics, and going to countless shows and rushing for me. I’m forever grateful to everything you do and I’m glad that I get to share this experience with you.
@itzikslullaby for talking to me about this show at 2 am, and making me laugh with all your memes/cry about Itzik and Iris at ungodly times in the night. You’re the most valid tbv blog I know “LMAO”
@wecouldlivethisloveagain for making such amazing works of art. I’m in awe every time, and I’m so glad that you keep blessing us with your talent. Thank you for being a major contributor to the scrapbook; I wish I could’ve taken a picture of Adam’s face when he saw the portrait of him. I hope you know how much they and we appreciate you.
To the people who participated in the tbvoneyear edits: I’m so glad that I got to see all your beautiful posts, and that we can share our love for this show together. I’m gonna miss going in the tag and seeing new tbv edits every day. Thank you for making this anniversary special!

Also thank you to all the messages from anons and blogs telling me that you saw/listened to TBV because of me, I truly treasure all those messages and it makes me so happy to know you thought of me when you saw the show, or that something from the TBV team reminded you of me. I’m honestly amazed every time I read those and keep thinking that it somehow isn’t real.
And of course thank you thank you to the cast, crew, and creative team of The Band’s Visit who won’t see this, but I hope got the message across in the collective scrapbook we made for them (again thank you to all the people who participated).
