Thank You for the Venom
My Chemical Romance
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004)
I want to give a huge shout out to everyone who has supported me for this project. It has been a success thanks to you all.
I plan to continue doing covers, but this video wraps up the educational portion of my blog!
Three Cheers was by far the most important album of my childhood. It was really hard to grasp what depression was in 4th grade, but this album presented itself as a gift for understanding what it means to be “mentally ill”.
Being depressed isn’t easy by any means, and having developed it at such a young age really didn’t make it any easier. But, as I’ve grown (in body and mind), leaning coping tactics has really helped.
To be clear: I’ve never been on an anti-depressants, psychotics, or anxiety medication. Clinically diagnosed in 7th grade. Admitted into inpatient my freshman year of High School (for a week because of signs of an eating disorder). And now I’m here, but, I’m alive so there’s that.
Several techniques I keep myself sane with, that have made some difference in my life are:
1. Keeping Busy
As of this moment, I have two part time jobs, I go to college full time, and have an internship. While, this might not work for some people, keeping my mind occupied has helped push out most of the sadness. It’s hard to dwell on situations when there’s no time to think about them in the first place.
2. Having Some Kind of Hobby
I’ve always liked music, and it’s really kept me grounded. It doesn’t matter what the hobby is, as long as you have something to turn to when you have down time. It can be video games, playing an instrument, or walking around the neighborhood, anything to keep yourself sane.
3. At Least 2 Really Good Relationships
Whether it’s a friend, parent, sibling, online friends, or significant other, it’s really important to have at least two people who care about you infinitely. Now, I would say one, but in case something falls through with one of your close friends, you want to make sure you aren’t stranded alone. In tangent with the two close friends, make sure they aren’t from the same group, this way, if something does happen to one of the relationships, it won’t effect the other. It’s like a fail safe. You don’t want to put yourself in a position to be completely alone.
4. Find Something that Makes You Laugh
I don’t care how sick and demented it may be, just have something that, no matter what mood you may be in, makes you laugh. Personally, I’m a huge animals in predicaments fan, and funny animal videos always get an awww or a chuckle out of me. But, something as simple as a funny video could change your whole day.
Hopefully this helps some of you. Really, through this all, I just want to be able to make some type of positive impact on someone’s life. If I can help just 1 person, that means what I’ve done is a success.
Thank you for sticking by me,

Today I Saw the Whole World - Pierce the Veil Misadventures (2016)
New cover, who dis? I’ve been a long time fan of PTV and I was so hyped when they released Misadventures because it brought my obsession full circle. Having a favorite band is so important because it gives you something to look forward to and be passionate about! Some of my long time favorites include My Chemical Romance Bring Me The Horizon Panic! At the Disco And so many more. Music is great because it’s so relatable. It lets you know that you’re not the only person who feels this way. I think that’s why music has helped me so much, because I know I’m not alone. It’s okay to be sad. But when you do get yourself down, music is always there. There is music that represents every emotion and I think that’s amazing. Being in love with a band/artist or song is so influential because even if you had a bad day, you can always jam out on the ride home or lay in bed with your favorite soundtrack on and, if you let it, you can get lost in the music and let the pain subside. Music truly is powerful if you believe in it.
What are some of the bands that impacted your life?

Underappreciated Artist Alert~~~
The album Dead Roses came out back in 2015 (2 years ago, woah time flies).
Did you know that sad rap/r&b exists that isn’t Drake? But- Blackbear has a lot of talent, it’s like if new Justin Bieber and Frank Ocean had a musical baby and this was it.
He came out with an ep in 2016 called Cashmere Noose, which was equally as lit and on April 21st he is releasing his next full length Digital Druglord, be ready for the fire.
Chicago-Core at its finest
Song - Jenny Artist - Nothing More Album - Nothing More
About a month ago I heard this song on the radio for the first time (even though it came out in 2014), and it was the most rock-core, 80's power vocal, nu-metal song I had ever heard...As if Chugcore got their hands on radio rock...
The message of this song is just as powerful as the instrumentals. 'Loss' is a familiar theme in my life and coping has never been, and will never be easy. We must focus on those who are around us, who support us, and who love us for who we are, regardless of the inner turmoil we face.
During my freshman year of high school, my mom was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer, she f*cking beat it because she is a powerhouse of a woman, but damn did it take a toll on my psyche. How could someone, like my mother, who all they do is care about their child and had done everything in their power to ensure that their child has a good life, be thrown the iron hammer of this disease.
I blamed myself for this happening to her, I thought “maybe if we hadn’t have moved so that I could go to a better high school, none of this would have happened”. I let these thoughts eat at me, fuel my eating disorder, and overall rule my life...
“She loved you through it all”-- She really did love me through it all.
TL;DR....Stick by the ones you love when they need you the most and realize that some elements are out of your control.
Stay happy, weirdos.

(From Valentine’s Day)
Best Mistake Ariana Grande & Big Sean My Everything Here is a special Valentine's Day cover! A HUGE shout out to Niq from False Humans for helping me make this cover possible, he is the only person I know who can spit lines as good as Big Sean. Pretty sure he shares consciousness with Big Sean... (I Decided #1 on the music charts right now, wassup). Let's be honest, Ariana Grande and Big Sean were the perfect couple and I'm still getting over their break up... I did not post a cover last Friday, and now you know why. This cover was very fun to make and is special to me because Niq and I have now been together for two Valentines' Days, and he has been part of my inspiration to get involved in music. Thank you for helping me realize what I am capable of!
It’s important to have someone in your life that influences you to become a better person. Whether it’s a relative, a friend, or a significant other, having that positive energy in your life can make all the difference. People, you have to realize that in order to become a better person, you have to surround yourself with people who believe you can become a better person.
We all need a little faith in our lives, and I’m not talking about the big guy upstairs, I mean the kind of faith that stems from the people who care most about you.
I won’t lie, it’s hard when you feel like you are the only person who is cheering you on. But, it’s even harder when you have people cheering you on, without even realizing it or accepting their their help.
TL;DR Let the people who care about you help you in your journey through life. It’ll make all the difference. Let me know what you guys think and what you want to hear next! Cash me on Social Media, howbowdah?: instagram.com/krispy.m

I went to see Sweeney Todd at the Paramount in Aurora last Friday and this picture reminds me of the theatre!!
What is this bullshit???
Don’t get me wrong, it’s good... kind of... and I’ll love them to the end of time, but let’s be honest, The Chainsmokers already did it!!
-All we want is Meteora 2.0-
Meteora was easily the best album Linkin Park every released, right next to Hybrid Theory and Minutes to Midnight.
Bring back the Sad, the Angry, and the Rap!!
Sometimes you just need to relax and trust that things will work out. Let go a little and let life happen.

Here is my cover of True Friends by Bring me the Horizon! Hope you enjoy ❤
Low-key/High-key we all have that one friend, who was (at least you thought) a great friend.
As much as we feel alone and depressed when we’re dealing with crap friends we always need to ask ourselves:
-Do I feel worse around this person than I do when I’m alone?
-If I asked this person for help, would they just hang me up to dry?
-Is the relationship I have with this person mentally exhausting?
-Has this person lied or been dishonest to me?
If you had someone in mind, and answered yes to any of these questions, you may be entitled to New Friends compensation. Joking- but seriously tough. Life is too short to surround yourself with people that bring you down. And even though it’s hard to let toxic relationships die, whether it’s a significant other or a “best-friend”, sometimes you have to do what’s best for you (even if that means finding a new place to live, in my case).
And yes, I know, finding new friends is TERRIBLY hard. But work, school, or any social event is a good place to start. It’s okay to show up to places alone, if anything it makes you a stronger, less dependent person.
You make your life what you want it to be, so stop settling for less!!
