A tense laugh as his hand moved up to rub the back of his head. "I just figured-..." He shrugged lightly. "From the way you were looking at me, I... Am I completely wrong here?"

Was it bad that she hoped she was more important to him? Maybe it was pathetic, being so desperate for her boss' attention. Fuck, he was handsome. And she was definitely staring at him. The blonde parted her lips to speak up, but he already continued to talk. "I'm sorry, I thought-" There was a slight shift in her facial expressions and body language, nervously fidgeting with her fingers now. "I thought you'd be angry with me, or disgusted." Charlotte moved her hands back into her lap, plump lips pressing together as he watched him. He was such a difficult man to handle when he was like this. Usually, she would just avoid him on these days. Charlotte cleared her throat, getting up from her seat at his desk. "Coffee then, maybe?" Please say yes, so we can just forget about all this, she thought.

Dwelling on the topic for longer than necessary wasn't his style. Cut the crap, get down to business. When looking at her, all he could think about was how fucking perfect she looked in that nude picture of herself, securely saved onto his camera roll for desperate times. Jeremy glanced at his watch, Vacheron Constantin, worth more than the average yearly salary. Glancing over at her when she got up from her seat, he paused for a second. "Uh- yeah. Sabrina didn't really need pity from her lawyer. She was sueing her manager for sexual harrasment; and who knew what was true and what not? For those who really knew her, it could look an awful lot like a made-up case. Her gaze flickered down to Maxwell's hand on her knee, inching slowly up towards the hem of her skirt, originally kept at a professional length, but riding up when seated on the couch. This wasn't exactly fitting, given the nature of her case.

"You are?" She said, only to check if he'd withdraw or if his hand would linger. If he listened closely, he could probably hear her heart drum in her chest. She pressed her legs together slightly, a natural reaction to how the warmth of his hand felt against her skin.

This was probably the closest he was to a mid-life crisis: found himself in Switzerland with a high-maintenance girl who probably found him repulsive if it wasn't for the fact that he paid for all of this. And him? He didn't really care about her either, other than the fact that it made him look like a success. Jeremy propped his hand on his hip, facing the younger woman. "I need something super fucking absorbing in my life. Right now, that's you." Could that translate into commitment? Not really, and it wasn't fair of him to ask her for it. "I just need to know you're happy with this. With me."

Nikos was in a haze, completely zoned out from the world as he made his way into his house and beelined for his bathroom. Bloodied clothes were shed along the way and placed in his laundry basket to deal with later. Steam filled the room as he turned on the shower, wanting it hot to wash away his sins. He hadn't even considered someone else hanging around his place, friends, family and more often came and went as they pleased. Once in the shower, a sigh of relief leaves him, letting the water envelope his body as the subtle red started to pool at his feet. "Fuck..."

Clara had waited all night for him to come home, but found herself tossing and turning in his empty bed. She almost dozed off but was woken up again by the sound of a slamming door and water running in the bathroom. Did he really forget they had agreed to her staying the night, even though he had plans that night?

She waltzed lightly into the bathroom, barefoot and knocking softly on the door before entering. "Hey," Clara said, looking at him, but her focus shifting immediately to the pool of blood gathering at his feet.

Karma stood in the bridal suite of her wedding location, people setting up, putting the final touches on things in the ceremony spot in the garden. Looking at herself in the mirror, all done up, in her wedding gown, it felt surreal. She knew part of the marriage was in part for publicity, not something she always cared about, but something that mattered in her current situation. Her soon-to-be husband was kind, but he wasn't the one, and she knew that, but did her best to push her feelings aside. "You've got this," the brunette breathed out as the door to her suite opened. When she spotted who entered her room in the reflection of the mirror, a gasp escaped her, spinning around to make sure she wasn't imagining it. "I... What are you doing here?"

Matthew didn't really have a good answer to her question. Perhaps he was there to wish her luck, or to convince her to step away from it. He hadn't decided yet. "Uhm," he hesitated for a second, mesmerized by the sight of her in her white dress. "Wow-- you look..." his gaze flickered back up to her eyes. "You look amazing."

She doesn't find his Blackadder quote funny at the slightest, just stared at him like the fool he is. It wasn't Greg's intention to be this flake guy in finance, but there was simply not enought time in a day to make up for it.

He hesitates for a moment, but decides to be upfront with her. "Is that what you really want? For me to fuck off?" He notices the way her fingers toy with the sleeve of his blazer, making him want to reach for her. "...and what is your type, exactly? Just to make sure I'm completely off the list."
