It’s been a steady theme in my life that I’m most happy with drawings I do on garbage like this piece of card board that came out of a case of hamburger buns. Napkins in restaurants are fair game as well. Maybe it’s a matter of expectations and the freedom to accept that it’s trash to begin with.
