Mariana put her phone in her pocket as she ignored another call from her boss, she was too tired to work, and she had a huge assignment that she needed to start working on. It was her night off anyway. She deserved at least one night of rest. She hadn’t been looking where she was going when she slammed into someone when she tried to walk away. “Hijo de puta!” Looking at her person she’d ran into Mariana shook her head, “Siento. Sorry.”

A LOAD OF TROUBLES had managed to intertwine into the convolutions of the sheppard boy’s brain and had twisted down to the depths of his heart . and so in conclusion , jet wasn’t his normal energetic self today , rather quite the opposite . he was a little l o s t in his worries and because of it the contact had barely fazed him but the voice shook him out of his thoughts and it was only then he realised what had happened .  “ ah shit -- i’m sorry ! ! i’m sorry . it’s totally my fault . are you okay ?? ”

the girl thought she noticed a hesitation in jet’s movements, something in the way he was staring down the three shots of whiskey. maybe she was right, or maybe it was the alcohol in her system trying to convince her of something that wasn’t actually there. “ oh, GOSH, it was … uh, ” luna had been left a little dumb-founded by the quick succession in which the boy had eventually consumed the spirit. “ it was impressive. ” was what she finally settled on, her hands coming down onto the surface of the bar to emphasise her words & maybe also just a little bit because the ceiling and floor were starting to merge. she meant what she said  — it took almost no alcohol to get luna tipsy. “ but, well, it’s just — don’t drink TOO  much more, will you? ” she would always be concerned about jet; always be keeping an eye out for his wellbeing. 

JET’S HEART DID A LITTLE FLUTTER as the concern of the other travelled across the heavy beats of the music and to his auditory centres and it was evident in the small smile upon his lips . ❛ don’t worry about me princess . ❜ jet slid closer to the other , shoulders almost brushing hers . he’s always found luna quite pretty , everybody here was incredibly and unbelievably beautiful in their external appearance but very f e w people’s interior matched their angelic exterior . and one of those very special people was the one he was smiling at right now . ❛ worry about yourself , i’ve seen you stumbling a little , ❜ the sheppard boy said with the undertone of a joke . he’s always too caught up in himself during parties but he did notice a slight c h a n g e in the marx’s demeanour . ❛ and so i guess ,  the million dollar question is , how much have you been drinking ? ❜
