i think bedman and faust have extremely untapped foil potential in gg canon. both are extremely smart, Whiz Kid level scientists+magicians, masters of their craft with a medical motif (i argue bedmans (sick)bed and hospital gown like garb). they both even have the cute round glasses!

the difference is while faust is a genius ditz putting up a front of happiness and staying alive to atone for mistakes he can never undo, bedman is a calculating smirk type putting up a front of being the most logical, devoid of emotion (besides snark, of course) person in the world as he makes sure everything bad he does has an undo button, and tries to survive long enough to press it.

and both are driven to their breaking point of performing their heinous acts by the death of a young girl.
