Packing up all my things got me thinking about what I should leave behind, and I think it's about time to retire these bad boys. This is an ode to my Roshe Runs. They have seen me through some incredible times--road tripping across the US, trekking through sand dunes, hiking my first mountain (and my first night camping right before that). They fearlessly carried me along the Italian hillside and coast; the intimate cobbled streets of Spain; the cityscape and countryside of Ireland; the diverse, bustling metropolis that is London. They've been beaten, drenched, and hung out to dry (literally), filled with sand, covered in dust, and caked in mud. The soles are worn, the uppers torn (and stitched), but boy, has it been a good run. Ya done good, kid. Ya done good.

Blockhead No. 002 Special double post for a special day. Happy Valentine's Day, lovers.

No. 001 I've been having fun drawing these characters so I've decided to start a doodle series called Blockhead. Stay tuned! I'll be posting here on my Tumblr as well as my Instagram (@jialuni). Currently using a felt tip pen but thinking of experimenting more later.

Been meaning check out the "big houses" in Wuppertal since October and finally made the trip today. It's funny how you try to soak up every detail of a place when you know you're just about to leave it behind. I spent today really looking around me, whether it was the beautiful, interesting architecture of these houses or the streets, people, buildings I have walked past dozens of times before. It's crazy how quickly this semester has gone by, and I'm thankful I've been able to travel to so many new places, try things I've never done (and foods I've never eaten), and meet such incredible people. See you soon America, and thanks Europe for an unforgettable couple of months.
