... i wait and ache. I think I have been healing.
Malik ibn Dinar (May Allah have mercy on him) commented on the memorizers of the Quran:
يا حملة القرآن! ماذا زرع القرآن في قلوبكم ؟ فإن القرآن ربيع المؤمن، كما أن الغيث ربيع الأرض فقد ينزل الغيث من السماء إلى الأرض فيصيب الحش فتكون فيه الحبة فلا يمنعها نتن موضعها أن تهتز وتخضر. فيا حملة القرآن! ماذا زرع القرآن في قلوبكم؟
Oh carriers of the Quran! What has the Quran implanted in your hearts? For indeed the Quran is the spring of a believer, as is the rain the spring of the earth, the rain pours from the sky to the earthly ground and it falls upon the seeds in which the grain lies, there upon nothing stops the grain from growing and sprouting into a plant. So oh carriers of the Quran! What has the Quran implanted in your hearts?
The heart that aches for others, the ears that listen to all their grief and sorrows, the hand that reaches out whenever they need, the feet that cross mountains for them, is extremely tired. This heart too, aches. This soul too, needs listening. This hand too, needs to be reached out for. People do not understand the blessing it is to have someone there, to have someone tear their own skin to keep you warm, to have someone shed a tear when you feel pain. Cherish those people, and never let them go.
I love seeing people’s transformation. Spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically, everything.
To go from a place of darkness and turn that around is a beautiful process and an amazing thing to witness. I’m rooting for everyone’s growth.
Allahﷻ hears me, I’m not alone
O Allah, grace us with the Quran and make it for us a leader, a light, a guidance and a mercy.
And make it the spring of our hearts, the light of our bosoms, the expelling of our sadness, and the taking away of our worries and depression. O Allah, teach us of it what we have not learned, remind us of what we forgot of it, and grant us its recitation during the depths of the night and the edges of the day, in the manner that pleases You, and make it for us a supporting argument, O Lord of the worlds, by Your grace
The Great Merits of Reciting the Qur’an with Contemplation: ibn al-Qayyim
The great scholar ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah once wrote:
If people only knew the great value of reciting the Qur’an with reflection, then they would devote themselves to it above anything else. For when one recites with contemplation, when he comes across an ayah which contains something needed to rectify his heart, he would repeat that ayah, perhaps as many as one hundred times or even for the entire night! For reciting a single ayah with contemplation and understanding is better, more beneficial for one’s heart, and more likely to bring about an increase in eemaan and tasting the sweetness of the Qur’an than reciting the entire Qur’an without reflection or understanding.
This used to be the practice of the Salaf, that one of them might repeat a single ayah until the morning came. It has also been authentically attributed to the Prophet that he stood in the night prayer until the morning came repeating a single ayah, which was:
إِن تُعَذبهُمْ فَإِنَّهُم عِبَادك وَإِن تغْفر لَهُم فَإنَّك أَنْت الْعَزِيز الْحَكِيم
If You punish them, then they are Your slaves. And if You forgive them, then You are the Mighty, the Wise. [5:118]
For reciting the Qur’an with contemplation is the very basis of the heart’s rectification.
In this same vein, ibn Mas’ood said, “Do not recite the Qur’an rapidly without pause like the recitation of poetry or while babbling it quickly out of hastiness. (Rather) stop when you come to one of its amazements, and let it move your heart, and do not be bothered if you do not reach the end of the surah.”
Aby Ayyub relayed that Abu Hamzah said, “I said to ibn ‘Abbaas, ‘I am very quick in my reading, I read the entire Qur’an in three days.’ He said to me, ‘For me to read a single surah and to contemplate it and recite it at a slow measured pace is more dear to me than to recite the Qur’an as you do.'”
And there are two types of contemplating the Qur’an. 1) Contemplating its contents in order to understand the meanings which your Lord intended, and 2) contemplating those meanings which invite the reader to reflect and ponder them. The first is contemplating over what the Qur’an shows and indicates, while the second is oriented towards what that person needs. The first is contemplating the ayah itself, while the second is contemplating the effects of the ayah on the person.
Along these lines, Allah has revealed the Qur’an for it to be contemplated, pondered over and acted upon, not for it to be merely recited while the people turn away from its meanings. al-Hasan al-Basri said, “The Qur’an was revealed to be acted upon, but these people treat reciting it as the action it requires.”

The best form of love is through prayer.
How beautiful, to remain a mystery in a world of people who have nothing left to hide.
Tumblr is not a place to seek knowledge. You can be reminded/inspired. But actual knowledge should NOT be taken from random blogs. You study deen according to its usool. If you’re going to ask someone, ask qualified people. Extremism in all its forms can be triggered by following certain blogs, while one has no knowledge or sense for critical thinking. Especially young people.. Please be careful.
You begin now. Begin today. Witness His Mercy. Live with gratitude for all that comes into your path. Be conscious at all times, conscious of the way you speak, the way you react, the emotions that flow inside of you. Be calm. Remember Him. Enjoy the moment. Observe. Serve. Take a step forward. Do not forget to pray. Build your legacy day by day.

Sometimes just one dua changes qadr
There is never shame in turning around no matter how far you go. There is never shame in recognising something you are doing is displeasing to Allah, stopping it and turning your back on it forever.
Don’t go into Ramadan having hurt anyone without seeking their forgiveness. The last thing you’d want on the Day of Judgement is to find that your entire Ramadan, with all of its Qu'ran recitation, fasting, Taraweeh prayers, Laylatul Qadr, etc. went completely to waste because your pride stopped you from saying “I’m sorry”. With that being said, I’m sorry if I’ve written, said, or done anything to offend you. Please find it in your heart to forgive and make du'a that Allāh grants me guidance and sincerity.
