#makewavesmonday of the #instatidechallenge includes getting to know me a bit more! Here are five facts: 1) I copied the handwriting of my best friend in the fifth grade, the talented @drsackett, and became obsessed with writing the alphabet over and over again (and still do, obviously, to this day) 2) I used to play the French Horn quite well, got to perform at Symphony Hall in Boston my senior year of high school, and pretty much wept my way through the most gorgeous piece of music entitled 'October' 3) I used to work alongside @kate_childs @traversj @rochellenicole510 @mariabraeckel and many more at the publishing house formerly known as Random House, before leaving New York for art school, writing, and freelance artist aspirations 4) I'm a 200hr RYS yoga teacher, and to this date have taught at 8 yoga studios across the US 5) this month, 3 years ago, I learned about a company called Arbonne, and despite hesitations or fears or lack of funds, I jumped in, gained some of the most beautiful friendships, and now get to share this journey with a budding and brilliant team of my own, including @loveandliveyoga and @arbonne.ashleybird.
