think i've made a post about this before but it's crazy to me how you can't have a conversation about Arcane season 2 on the internet anymore without people just lying about Caitlyn. like the 'she gassed children' thing is so commonly parroted and she just didn't do that. like ever. then you have the people calling her Hitler which is not only also in very poor taste but wlso untrue because the show makes it abundantly clear that Ambessa is primarily the one behind the wheel and manipulating Caitlyn. and Caitlyn PUSHES BACK against Ambessa trying to be more violent!!

i really don't wanna be one of those ppl that just brushes off any negativity towards a character as them being misogynist or lesbophobic but i genuinely have no idea how else these just straight up lies have become so widespread.

this is all not to say that she did nothing wrong btw, obviously she did, that's kinda the point.

adding on to this. it becomes extra frustrating when the actual interesting ideas in the text are completely ignored because of people just straight up lying about it.

the kirammans made the filtration system that keeps the grey out of Zaun, and the head of house kiramman can just turn it off whenever they want. that's crazy. it's emblematic of the power that the higher classes can hold over the lower whenever they actually do something for them. but this is ignored in order to lie about Caitlyn for like no reason
