when i came out as a trans my mom said "you arent trans, youre just a confused lesbian." that was abt 5 years ago and guess what? im still trans, and still like men. my mom says she respects me, but misgenders me everywhere, tells strangers my dead name, ignores my discomfort when im refered to with feminine terms. shes taught this behavior to everyone we know and now i have only like one person who refers to me by my actual preferred name and doesnt misgender me. i feel completely alone and have lost all my friends cause they dont understand that im a man.
