{text from --> the jongbae} tae... {text from --> the jongbae} he's back
His phone lights up the darkness around him. The glow illuminating his hand, which lays limp, a contrast to the dark green underneath that is damp with dew. He didn't know how he got there, maybe it was when he was searching for his dorm complex, but he somehow ended up laying on his back stargazing with damp grass soaking through his thin shirt and sports sweater. In theory, he should have thought to bring heavier clothing to change into but, since he was only going for a practice, he didn't plan in depth; not that he usually did.
The stars were exceptionally bright, reflecting off the wetness of his eyes.The wetness wasn't much, his eyes sore with overuse and their exposure without rest. He lays there in a daze, watching the twinkling lights above and how they blur together every other second and then come back into focus.
He thinks it weird, how quiet it is, and how if he tries hard enough he can hear crickets and other students walking home but it just as well could be his imagination because the last time he checked the time it was way too late for anyone to be up. The only reason he was up was because he had been practising and then wandering around when his body wouldn't cooperate further; his limbs restricting any possible dance movement and rendering him useless for the night.
He assumed the countless amount of sleep he had forgone was catching up to him and his figurative circuit was blowing. His brain probably was in the midst of realizing, explaining why he had the sudden urge to find his dorm and possibly his warm bed... maybe his warm roommate Kevin who was very nice to use as a body pillow substitute.
He wanted to move now, to find his dorm and sleep; sleep, sleep, sleep, and sleep. His limbs were ignoring him, either finding greater comfort in the grass or the exhaustion was rendering them useless, he assumed the latter. It was making him worry, as much as he could with what felt like gauze covering his capability to think. This was different to the other times he just happened to knock out sleeping across the campus, at least those times he only felt like falling asleep.
There were footsteps falling closer but by the time he realized, his eyes were already shutting.
