The light revealed more of her. Otsoa could now see that above her head, her horns were way bigger than he first initially thought. 'I like your horns.' ‘Thanks, but they’re antlers. I’m a Reindeer-thread.' Otsoa had never seen something as beautiful as her. His legs wanted to chase her, but she was not running away. She stood firm. 'Ok, Wolf, if you’ve finished gawping at me, I need to prepare for tomorrow,’ she said bluntly. 'Tomorrow? The Mountain Tap thing?' 'Yes, I’m a Tapper,' she said with her head held high. 'What’s a Tapper?' 'You’ll find that out tomorrow. Now run along.' Otsoa immediately turned to leave, as she ushered him away. He began walking back towards the village but he felt a spark of flame in his gut. "Just ask her," he thought. He stopped and turned. 'What’s your name?' he asked, whilst rubbing the fur on the back of his head. 'Sami,' she said. She then smiled for the first time. Otsoa had to turn to leave before she noticed him salivate. ‘Yours?’ she asked him after he turned away. He put his forearm to his mouth to try and hide his drool and replied: ‘Opboa.’ He then sharply power walked off back the way he came. ‘Nice to meet you?’ said a perplexed Sami.
