Thinking back on how we were robbed with the cancellation of Teenage Bounty Hunters.
We could’ve had one of the best Christian Mean Girl / Closeted Lesbian / Daddy’s perfect Little (straight) Girl(tm) all in one character named April Stevens. And we did, all for one fucking season.
Then we had classic, dumbass energy with Sterling Wesley whose self-discovery in bi-sexuality was getting harassed and taunted by said Closeted Lesbian as if she were some sort of soft-core masochist.
Then leaving it all off with (April’s) Stern Dad return and April returns to being STRAIGHT WHITE PERFECT GIRL who is STRAIGHT and has to BE STRAIGHT for DADDY’S PERFECT APPEARANCE which breaks Sterling’s heart?
The fucking drama.
I am so mad. I wanted to see how it all played out. They even had a song called “SLOW BURN” - By Kacey Musgraves playing, implying there was SO MUCH MORE TO THEIR SAPPHICNESS. LIKE C’MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON.
some people should seriously just learn a new language instead of complaining about something machine translated not making any sense. or worse, imply that because the machine translation was nonsensical, the original expressed sentiment must be too
