I've never seen Isaac's summer sprite in the Seasonal outfit mod, and it's only since the recent update that I've been able to catch him with Alesia in game.
The first time I saw Issac in this outfit I was in Badlands and I was so confused like, "Buddy. We're in a corrupted desert. You're gonna get the worst sunburn. 😰"
On the rest of the sprites in the dialogue window, a collar from a shirt sticks out from under his raincoat, but not in the summer one. And this sprite. Shirtless
surely its just a tan colored shirt surely. surely isaac would not. surely the sve artist would not do this.

For all fanfic authors, you guys don't know how important your work is. It doesn't matter what you write or how, the fact that your write beautiful comfortable inclusive works for free is something I will always be thankful for.
For those of us who are adults being told to be this and that, molded into roles we don't like or resonate with. To always be on the outside of everything, especially relationships, to always be told were wrong or stubborn or will live to regret our decisions. To those of us who refuse to compromise, fanfic is such a comfort. Because really in our society and world, there are few people who just want to be with you because they enjoy you as you are and want to take every day with you like an adventure.
It's really sad and embarrassing to admit but I have found more comfort in fanfic and fictional characters than people. I know the psychology behind fanfiction but honestly who cares. It's nice to read and if it gives you the boost you need to make it to the end of the day, indulge a little.
So thank you to all you who write fanfiction because it's not easy to go through the day and then create your own stories to console yourself and others and then do everything again the next day. If my writing gives you even a tiny bit of that comfort, I'm glad.
Sometimes the only constant we have in our life is our maladaptive day dreams fanfic.

SVE LANCE MENTION. Lance so i don't know if i will actually do it. We will see.
Okay sO lance immediately gives the player his schedule upon their first interaction, so naturally i thought it was a very important item and I memorized the whole thing.
I find lance’s time spent at the crimson badlands a place of interest.
So imagine lance’s heart event where lance’s love interest ( i think female farmer works splendidly) stays at the island adventurers guild (you know the one I’m talking about 😏) and in the middle of the night, lance has to warp to the castle village gate due to some emergency.
so lance is like, super tired, yeah? And he’s there, dealing with whatever shit summoned him / needs to be taken care of and all of the sudden, one of those freaky fallen adventurer monsters comes out and attacks him.
lance, in his extremely tired state of mind, only notices that *wait a minute, what the hell?? This guy kinda looks like my significant other???*
His reaction time is impeccable, of course. So the adventurer is dead within two seconds flat.
But it leaves lance with a chilling, harrowing sense of somberness at the prospect that his lover could have visited to check up on him and they would be dead in front of him nonetheless.

okay anyways Lance eventually makes his way back to the mine carts to get back to the guild, but after the traumatic experience, he’s mentally out of it — and he gets wounded very easily.
he makes it back and his partner is very worried about how he was caught so off guard. Like, lance is an incredible fighter so there’s got to be something deeply wrong for him to be so easily wounded like this. He’s not acting like himself.
Lance does not explain the event immediately, because he hasn’t even processed it for himself, but his partner notices how desperately clingy he is all the sudden and doesn’t press further. There can be spice here, but it’s not necessary.

a few days later, lance has a nightmare/ night terrors related to that event and wakes up multiple times in the night in a cold sweat. Upon seeing his lover’s growing unease, lance finally opens up about what happened, leaving his partner shocked at how he carried that burden for however long it had been since.

I find it pretty funny to imagine Lance as someone who’s very particular about choosing a partner, and yet he ends up picking Farmer. Like, he tells his colleagues, “I have standards,” and then turns his attention to Farmer standing nearby, wearing mayor’s purple shorts, a trash can shirt and dino hat, holding a sword that shoots rainbow cat heads in one hand and a half-empty jar of mayo in the other, and thinks, “Mmmm… 💕”
Just a little note to say that MM:RP now has explicit SVE compatibility. I recently reached out to FlashShifter and was given permission to do whatever I liked with the characters, so I've gone ahead and enabled at least the Default Proposal for the SVE marriage candidates.
Claire, Lance, Olivia, Scarlett, Sophia and Victor can now all access the Wishing Well proposal that I teased on this blog once. I did *not* enable the Wizard, however, because his 14 heart SVE event is lore incompatible with a proposal.
Perhaps in the future I will add custom events for these characters, but at the moment I don't know them well enough to do them justice. Hope that this is still welcome news to all of the SVE fans out there!
Depending on what's on the agenda and where he's patrolling, his morning routine is doing a few quick calisthenics to shake the sleep off, dress, brush his teeth and shave, finger-comb his hair back, grab some trail rations, and head out. If he has time, he likes to take a few minutes to read at breakfast. If he's not patrolling, sword practice or a morning walk are on the agenda.
In the evening, if the day included patrols, he showers, stretches, and preps supplies for the next day if he's going back out on patrol. If not, he likes relaxing by the fireplace when it's cold, or outside on the roof when it's nice out. Then it's lights out for the day.
If he's in a relationship, his significant other takes priority and he never misses taking a few minutes with them, even if it's only a quick embrace, kiss and a few whispered words on the way out the door. In the evening, he loves nothing more than holding them close and talking about whatever comes to mind, occasionally nodding off in their arms if it's been a long day.
I think the reason why I fell so hard and fast for Lance was because out of all the people there, he was the only one who pursued the farmer first. everybody else had to warm up to you and some were outright RUDE and in my culture we don’t really do that so i tend to not like those characters as much ykno? also to outright SAY we piqued his interest like ,,,, the morning after cutscene really did it for me ngl
while i wouldn’t say this is always good advice in real life, lol, i prefer reading this as a subtle way to help the player understand the relationships mechanics in SDV. more importantly, though, i think this is a really nice bit of characterization for Elliott: the idea that he rather assume the best in others, and has a sympathetic view towards people that he doesn’t necessarily have the best opinion of
as a huge Elliott fan, i take his advice seriously, so i personally am going to try giving the grumpy blacksmith a chance :)
