In its 25th year Sikhlens – Sikh Arts & Film Festival honoured various eminent personalties from art, culture and social service. Mr. Vijay S. Jodha was among those who whose work received recognition alongside distinguished individuals such as senior journalist Roopinder Singh, Aston Martin’s lead designer and inventor Bal Choda (whose first project there, the Vanquish, featured in the blockbuster James Bond film 'Die Another Day'), and the pioneering Indian television satirist, the late Jaspal Bhatti.

Renowned primatologist and conservation icon Dr. Jane Goodall (1934–2025), whose pioneering work redefined humanity’s relationship with the animal world, was both admired and personally encountered by Indian filmmaker and writer Vijay S. Jodha in 2005, when Jodha was awarded the UK Environment Film Fellowship for directing one of India’s first climate change documentaries. Years later, she also spoke at a group photo exhibition in Paris featuring Jodha’s work, hosted by the GoodPlanet Foundation. Her quiet conviction and deep empathy left a lasting impression on conservationists, creatives, and thinkers across generations. Even after her passing, Dr. Goodall’s legacy continues to echo through the works of those she inspired—urging humanity to replace dominion with kinship, and science with soul.

Published for over 45 years IIC Quarterly is among the most distinguished journals, long recognised for featuring contributions from some of the world’s most eminent thinkers, writers, and artists. Vijay Jodha who has previously contributed photo essays to the journal and also had his work reviewed in the journal, has been given the honour of a cover – no small achievement considering the publication is brought out only thrice a year (the last two issues are combined and also produced as a book), as well as the fact that the cover art is curated to reflect each issue's thematic focus.

Vijay S. Jodha was invited by Surgeon Commander Diviya Gautam VSM  to make a film on INHS Kalyani the leading health facility of the Eastern Naval Command. The task involved multiple challenges including minimal disruptions to the facility's activities, issues of safety and observance of various protocols. Mr. Jodha is seen with his cameraman dressed in lead aprons for filming in a cardiac cath lab.

National Abilympics Association of India (NAAI) is preparing a  group of exceptionally talented youngsters from across India for the International Abilympics Finland I 2027. The film focuses on one such person Amol Karande who is preparing for the discipline of photography and is National Abilympic gold medalist. Film explores his life and also features his current trainer and International Abilympics Expert in Photography Mr. Vijay S. Jodha.

Vice President to Launch Public Policy Books

As one of India's leading public policy research and training institution, Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) has published numerous books and research papers. Its latest offering on public policy focus on policy recommendations for help India achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047 – the centenary year of its independence from the British.

The centre invited more than a dozen reputed experts to contribute a chapter each to this book project. Vijay S. Jodha was among this select group and as a communication professional with 35 years of experience in the media industry, he brought to the fore the role communication plays in informing public policy as well as its successful implementation. The book would be launched by Hon. Vice President of India Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar on 29th March 2025.

Nation Celebrates 21 Years of the Historic Flag Victory on 23rd January

Flag Foundation of India New Delhi [India], January 23: Today, the nation proudly commemorates the 21st anniversary of a significant milesto

Eminent parliamentarian, industrialist and philanthropist Mr. Naveen Jindal inaugurated 'The Many Faces of Tiranga' – a photo exhibition celebrating 21 years of the the historic court ruling that gave every Indian citizen the right to hoist the national flag. The exhibition was curated by Vijay S. Jodha and was a also a celebration of 75 years of the Indian constitution. It featured images by photographers from across India and is produced by Flag Foundation of India. The images are part of a larger project that has been listed in the Limca Book of Records as India's biggest photography project on the theme of Tiranga.

2025 marks 75 years of Indian constitution and India as a Republic. As the country gets ready to celebrate the historic occasion , Vijay S Jodha was given the honour of curating a group photo exhibition around this theme in the heart of the Indian capital New Delhi.
