TELL EM JOE FANELLI SENT YA
Throwback to the time Brian implied that gay musicians might be magical
happy pride month to brian may and gay musicians
freddie !
Before I pass out (it’s 2am :/), best moments from Queen II Remix Disc 2
As for the captions, Roger is red, Brian is blue, Freddie is white, and John (who speaks this time!) is orange. Black with white border is either Roy or I couldn’t tell who was speaking.
This whole disc was delightful. But be advised of strong language
Tasssssty new things ❤️❤️❤️
Thank youuuu @goodold-fashionedloverblog ! This is really the only thing I'm interested in about this "new" release 😅
no jimercury posts on their 41st anniversary is criminal so,

🔸July/October 1978 - Queen Story!
"Jazz"
Queen's seventh studio album was the first to be recorded outside of the UK. Sessions for Jazz began at Mountain Studios in Switzerland, in July 1978, and later moved to Super Bear studios in Nice, France, concluding in October. Producer Roy Thomas Baker had been absent on the previous two LPs, but for this project the team was reunited - though it would prove to be the last Queen/Baker production. Geoff Workman and John Etchells were the engineers.
"Jazz" was released in the UK on 10th November 1978 and four days later in America, reached number 2, chart for 27 weeks, achieved Platinum status.
Singles from this album: Fat Bottomed Girls / Bicycle Race / Don’t Stop Me Now / Jealousy.

I literally skipped a breath 💛💛💛
February 18, 1980: Freddie Mercury makes a cameo appearance on The Kenny Everett Video Show
"Hello, all you friends of Dorothy out there..." marks the start of this brief sketch. Though it’s seen a decline in usage, “Friends of Dorothy” was a common euphemism in the 20th century for queer men - a demographic that both Freddie and Kenny belonged to. As another nod to their sexualities both men are wearing clothing that reflect fashion trends in the gay community at the time. Freddie had already started wearing similar pieces as part of his stagewear, though some of his accessories are different here. Most notable are the addition of a pair of handcuffs and a leash hanging off his belt.
SOUNDS - 1988
‘Cautious smile ... earnestly .... [Freddie]’s also probably my best friend. I could never be envious of him. ...’ ... class war ... Aston Martin ... ‘You do get doors opened but mainly into nightclubs’ ... The Kids ... hating music journalists...
