Almost Human: The Complete First Season

In this action-packed show set in 2048, a worse-for-wear cop teams up with a second-hand synthetic android to fight a strain of urban crime that’s evolved in ever more frightening ways. After a devastating attack, Det. John Kennex (Karl Urban) teams up with an outdated Dorian android (Michael Ealy) whose somewhat dysfunctional emotional responses and flawed humanity connects him to Kennex.

We know that extras and special features have been created for the DVD release but as yet there is no information on what is exactly on this 3 disc version except for the 13 episodes. As soon as we know we will let you all know.

UPDATE: The extras will include: a gag reel, unaired scenes, and footage from the 2013 Comic-Con panel.

Ahhhh I found this after mourning my inability to get a DRN shirt and I quite like the design *_* It’s still a bit pricey (which is just how Redbubble is) but I thought I’d share. (art by @bartonandbucky)

Hmmm I think we should do some kind of shirt design that we can get printed cheaply for anyone in our fandom who wants to buy one. Idk if you guys have seen the site Booster before, but you can do shirts for about $15 apiece and generate a small profit (perhaps we could donate it to the unfortunately stalled-out Limbs For Life fundraising campaign). Anyone interested?

I love your idea for a Booster page, and donating to Limbs for Life is a fantastic idea! I was toying with an idea of a shirt with the DRN letters and underneath in smaller letters would say "forever" kinda off to the side. I don't know if that sounds like a good shirt idea, but it might work for a nice Booster shirt that is simple and sweet. Feel free to use the idea if you like it. =)

I wish Redbubble had cheaper options for shirts, too. I mean, I already cut down my take to make this shirt cheaper, but I'd have to eliminate all profit in order to get the shirt into any kind of affordable amount. It sucks. At least the shirts are a good quality when you get them.

Anywho, thanks for the mention and hopefully rebogging your idea for Booster shirts will get you some more people interested! =D

As recently as a month ago, Reilly seemed to be leaning toward a renewal for Almost Human. At one point during our lunch, I noted that Human should be included among Fox’s successes for this season: “Almost Human is an asset,” I say. Reilly’s response? “Yeah, I agree.”

But things can change quickly in Hollywood: Last week, Reilly opted against renewing the show.

Fox isn’t commenting on why, but industry insiders are saying the network wanted producer Warner Bros. Television to charge less for the show, since Fox was losing money on it (and had no chance of recouping those losses, since Warner Bros. will get any syndication or Netflix money). When the studio declined, Fox apparently walked away.

So they were going to renew the show…

Any news on whether almost human will get a season 2?! Fox isn't really saying anything and I am dying to know

There isn't much news yet, but many of the actors, including Karl Urban, have a positive outlook on the show's renewal possibility. And the fact that the media is aiming for a renewal, too, makes it seem more likely.
