I have been a little preoccupied with the birth of first grandchild . She was born November 12 at 1:20 am Hell yea ! So now that I am thoroughly wrapped around her finger I can get back to a little pottery Here is a chatter pattern I am very pleased with that I did yesterday

Burning up the elements . I go in for follow up surgery this coming Tuesday , and I'm getting all the unfinished work fired . Here are some pieces I pulled from the kiln this morning

So, I have been out of the loop for a little while , January brought me a diagnosis of colon cancer , I week later I was in surgery , and am tested clean . Giving the intestines time to heal , and then reversal surgery in April , and another six weeks of recovery . Anyway , Fuck cancer. I was out doing a Raku firing today of some things I was working on before surgery . Sunday I actually threw some 5 # balls of clay
