Hello followers!! Just wanted to post this update in case anyone sees the new profile pic & username and gets confused. With twitter seeming like it's on the verge of collapse I've decided I'm going to and diversify which social media platforms I use a bit more. So just for simplicity's sake, I'll be retiring my old profile pic & blog name & changing my username to "JohnLauxIllus" so that I have the same name across platforms. In addition, over the next few weeks I'll be uploading all of the art that I never posted here from the past few years.

Another Frieren Piece!!!! 🔮 She is Pondering her Orb 🔮

I'm very happy with how this one came out. I've done some more painterly stuff here and there but I feel like I haven't done an illustration where I played around with texture and different brushes like this since college, and it was nice to get in to that sort of flow state again.
