Summary: Sherlock Holmes heroically fakes his death, dismantles a criminal empire, and expects everything to return to normal—because emotional consequences are clearly for other people. John Watson, meanwhile, was under the impression that when someone dies, they stay dead, but apparently, Sherlock missed that memo.
